AIA Shanghai + Beijing | Individual Affiliate Membership

The individual affiliate membership is a membership for non-architect professionals who are involved in the design community. This includes interior designers, landscape designers, rendering artists, engineers, property consultants, and other professionals or non-design staff of design firms.

Please note this membership is only for non-architect design professionals and staff. If you studied architecture and work in an architecture firm, please apply for regular membership at www.aia.org/join or contact us for more details.

Affiliate membership provides access to AIA Shanghai + Beijing events and activities at our discounted member rates. It also provides priority access for events with limited availability including building tours.

Affiliate membership is renewed annually, based on the date of application. Memberships are not transferrable or refundable. Please contact membership@aiarchitectsh.org for any questions.

AIA Shanghai + Beijing Non-Local Membership provides members of other AIA Chapters access to our chapter's events and activities, and membership discounts for our Design Awards program and annual banquet.

This membership tier is suited to architects who maintain AIA membership in the USA but spend time in Shanghai or Beijing and want access to our chapter's membership benefits without transferring the original membership location. You must provide proof of regular membership in another AIA chapter to be eligible for AIA Shanghai + Beijing Non-Local membership.

Non-local membership is billed annually, based on the date of application. Please contact membership@aiarchitectsh.org for any questions.
