Robinson has received several commendations for his contribution to education including the Peabody Medal, Lego Prize, Benjamin Franklin Medal of the Royal Society of Arts and in 2013 made Knight Bachelor by the Queen of England. About the Book:

Expanding on his TED Talk ‘Do schools kill creativity?’, Ken Robinson explores practical solutions for transformative education in Creative Schools. Educators continue to face the strains of systems led by standardised testing, where schools today still operate in a system designed centuries ago for the industrial age. Robinson provides an alternative approach where education has the potential to be highly individualized, engage all students, develop a love of learning and enable learners to impact upon real global challenges.  Creative Schools includes research, case histories, observations and anecdotes to inspire teachers, leaders, policy makers and parents to re-think the true purpose of nature of education.
