Age focus 6 to 9 year old.
Children below 12 years old should be accompanied by a parent or a tutor.

Note for parents:

This activity is designed for children. If you decide to accompany your child during the walk you can help him by asking him questions and pointing out interesting things, letting your child describe what they can perceive, but it is best to just let your child explore and learn by himself while he builds his self-confidence. Alternatively, you could meet your child once the activity ends in the same location where we start 2h later.

To be prepared by each participant:

This inspiring field trip teaches in an enjoyable way about the importance of plants in the environment, how they affect the soil, the weather, the life of all living forms around them. You will get to know some of the most common plants that are in Shanghai and look with curious eyes to the rest of them for ever after.

While cities are covered in concrete, there are small oasis, that boost with life, that express the flow of seasons, and host local migratory animals in their quest for wild spaces. Not only as leisure points, for relaxation and socialization, parks also have an important role as educational places, in particular for the younger ones, it is often their only chance to connect with Nature and get to know first hand, some of the most important phenomenons that maintain life possible on earth.
