Le French Lab
The French Lab is a non-profit organization that brings together like-minded individuals who are equally passionate and committed towards driving positive change and developing successful projects.
The French Lab is well known for organizing large scale projects such as Forum Working Together in which we reunite international MNCs with SMEs and start-ups to accelerate collaboration. Additionally, we put on the Fête de la Musique, during which we assemble 50 concerts on each 21st of June, drawing cumulative crowds of about 4000 people. Smaller scale projects such as community gardens, business conferences and literature cafés have built up the reputation of the French Lab.
Through our projects, our members have access to the main French institutions such as the French Embassy and the French Chamber of Commerce as well as the international community of entrepreneurs and individuals who bring about positive change in Beijing.
The French Lab is the new name of the former French Junior Chamber International Beijing created in 2007.

Monday 13th of June - 7:30pm
The French Lab, in partnership with Day Day Up introduces the third edition of its new serie of events:
Be Inspired: How to overcome turning points challenges?
Get ready: the third edition of our "Be Inspired" conferences is entering a new league! The man that makes you discover the wildest places you've always been dreaming of will be joined by two of the most famous entrepreneurs selected among the most interesting personalities of Beijing!
Yes indeed: Dirk Eschenbacher from Zanadu, Jade Gray founder of both Gung Ho! Pizza and Lush and Dominic Johnson-Hill from Plastered 8 are here to share their stories.
How many times did you sit at an event, admiring the speakers while not being able to relate to them in any way: either their business was too different or simply, their personality seemed so much stronger.
Our "Be Inspired" conferences are meant for you to finally get to the other side of success: meet the real person behind the entrepreneur.
- What are the challenges they faced? How did they overcome them?
- What do they wish to have known before and what would have they done better?
- How do they handle the daily pressure and do they manage to find a balance with their personal life?
For this third edition, our three guests will start by sharing their story. The real one :
How did they overcome turning point challenges?
After this little journey back, they will share their advice with the audience during an informal panel. You will be able to both share your questions live during the panel and for more in-depth conversation, to talk directly to the speaker your related the most to.
This event has been organized in partnership with Startup Grind Shanghai. They are currently looking for new members in charge of the events in Beijing! Let us know if you are interested!
Agenda:

7:30 – 8:15pm: Story telling by Dominic Johnson-Hill (Plastered 8), Jade Gray (Gung Ho! Pizza and Lush), Dirk Eschenbacher (Zanadu)
