How long have you been working with children in the outdoors?
We've been around doing outdoor adventures since 1999 and have had more than five years of experience working directly with China's biggest and best international schools.
Are you an officially registered Chinese company?
Yep, Insight Adventures is a official travel agency with a registered office in Shanghai operating under the Chinese business name 上海唯联国际旅行社有限公司.

Where are you staff from and what makes them qualified to look after my kids?
We have staff from all over the world! With an established guide screening, selection and training programme, not only do we only employ the best people possible, but we also train them to our own international standard.
What about insurance for activities in case something goes wrong?
All of our camp instructors have advanced wilderness medical certificates and are well trained to deal with any emergency situation. Every student who registers for a programme is covered under Chartis Group Travel Accident Insurance.

What's the point of sending my kids to do outdoor activities?
Quite simply, outdoor education has proven to benefit the development of well rounded young adults through teaching them about themselves, others and the world around them in ways that parents, peers and the traditional education system can't.
Do you have a strict restriction on the age of participants? What if my child is one year older or younger?
While our age limits are more guidelines than rules, our programmes are created to suit a certain age group, and if your child is outside this age bracket, the programme is most likely not going to be suitable for them.
What should I prepare for this trip?
Recommended packing lists for each location can be found above the programme description on this page.
Can my child bring their mobile phone, iPad, laptop, etc?
These camps are an opportunity for your child to interact with other students in the real world. Whilst they can bring their phones to the camp our instructors will confiscate them during the day whilst they are doing activities, and again after “lights out” to ensure everyone is paying attention, participating and getting a good night rest.
Ipads, laptops and other electronics are not permitted on camp.
How much pocket money should I prepare for him/her?
Each Insight Camp is all inclusive, which means that your son or daughter will never need to spend any money. However, if you do want to give you child cash, please limit it to only 200-300 yuan.
How will children get to and from camp?
Each camp has return flights departing from Shanghai that will have Insight staff members accompanying students to and from camp.
Please see the programme description for the specific flight numbers to book.
My child will not be flying from Shanghai can an Insight staff member accompany them?
Insight will only accompany students on specific flights from these cities.
Can Insight book flights for me?
As we have students attending camps from all over the country, flight bookings are the responsibility of parents.
My child will be on a different flight to the ones listed in the programme description, what time should they arrive and depart?
If you choose to send your child on a flight other than the ones Insight will accompany campers on, it is essential that children arrive no later than 4pm on Day 1 and depart no later than 4pm on Day 7.
My child has to arrive late or leave early. Will Insight accommodate their travel arrangements.
All campers are expected to arrive on day 1 and depart on day 7. It is not possible to make special arrangements for children to arrive late or leave early.
Can parents go to the camp with their child?
With the exception of the Inner Mongolia Youth Leadership Course, parents can come along as a chaperone for children too young to travel alone and are unable to travel on the designated flights from Shanghai.
However, as these camps are designed to encourage development of social skills and independence in students, parents do not participate in activities as they can negatively impact the learning experience of the students.
What are the programme fees for chaperones and how do they register?
Chaperone fees are the same as student fees and they can register online using the same registration and payment process as students.
What does the fees include for chaperones?
The chaperone fees include standard twin share accommodation, meals and transport once on location only.
How many kids will be accommodated in one room?
All students and any chaperones will be staying in twin share or triple share rooms.
Do you have any workable measures to make sure they won’t leave the room during the night?
Insight instructors are responsible for students 24 hours a day. Hotel staff also help maintain safety and security of children at night time.
I’m trying to pay using a bank card, alipay or wechat pay but it wont work. Can I pay in cash?
There are many options for payment available to you. If one is not working, please try another option, or contact alipay, wechat, or your bank for help. Usually these payment companies have default per day or per transaction limits that you might need to change.
We do not accept cash payments.
What is the ratio of facilitators to participant?
Facilitator to participant ratios are normally between 1:6 and 1:8 but can be more or less depending on the specific activity.
How to get refund if for some reasons kid can not go after signup?

Yes, each camp will have a wechat group where parents can receive updates and photos throughout the camp.
Do you have any activities after dinner? If so, until what time?
Evening activities are usually team challenges and reflection activities that run no later than 9pm.
May I have some more background information about the instructors for this camp?
Insight Adventures has more than 50 instructors from all over the world who have been selected according to their backgrounds, education & training, and adhere to a strict set of company values.

My child’s English level is not high, what if they cannot understand the instructors?
All of Insight’s programmes are facilitated in English, this is a great opportunity for those not fluent in English to immerse themselves in the language. However, there are always mandarin speakers to help give instructions.
How may kids will be in one group?
Groups normally have around 14 or 15 students and are never larger than 18.

很简单，户外教育是国际公认的能帮助孩子们更好的认识自己，他人和周围环境的一项活动，它的功能是家庭教育和传统学校教育无法替代和覆盖到的。
对参加者的年龄段有严格规定吗？大一岁或小一岁能否参加？
所设置的年龄段更多是指导性的，不是硬性要求。鹰赛每一个项目都是按一定的年龄层设计，如果您的孩子不在该年龄等级，那么或许这个项目不是最适合他／她的。
需要为孩子的出行准备些什么呢？

孩子们能携带手机，iPad和电脑等电子产品吗？
我们的营地教育是给孩子们创造一个在真实世界里与同龄人交往的机会。他们可以携带手机，白天活动时间教练会收掉他们的手机，确保他们注意力集中，认真参与。晚上熄灯时也会回收手机，让他们好好休息。iPad，电脑和其他电子产品不能携带。

鹰赛的每个营地项目期间都是吃住行全包的，所以您的孩子不需要花钱。如果您还是想为他们备一些零钱的话，200-300元就够了。

如果您的孩子没有选择鹰赛指定的航班，那么务必注意他／她到达和离港的时间不能晚于下午四点。
我的孩子必须迟到或者早退，鹰赛能为他／她的出行提供帮助吗？
所有营员都应该全程参与项目。抱歉无法为迟到早退的孩子提供特殊安排。
家长可以一起参加吗？
除了这个内蒙古青年领袖训练营，家长可以陪同幼小的或无法按指定航班从上海出发的孩子来营地。因为营地教育的一个主旨是培养孩子们独立自主的能力和社会交往能力，所以家长不能参与孩子们的活动，否则将给他们的学习带来不利影响。
监护人如何注册付费？
监护人的收费与学生相同。可以通过相同的注册付费通道操作。
监护人费用包含哪些内容？
包括标准双人间或三人间住宿，营地的餐饮和交通。
几个孩子安排一间房？
所有的学生和监护人都会入住双人或三人间。
有哪些有效措施保证孩子们夜间不离开房间？
鹰赛教练会24小时负责孩子们安全，酒店工作人员也会协助管理夜间孩子们的安全保卫。
我尝试用银行卡，支付宝或微信支付，但是不成功，能付现金吗？
有很多方式可以实现支付，一种不成功就请试试其他方法，或者联系银行，支付宝，腾讯公司。这些支付公司有时会有每日支付限额，可能需要调整。我们不接受现金支付。

鹰赛所有的项目都是全英文的。对于英文不熟练的孩子来说是极好的锻炼学习机会。我们也配有中国教练以便随时帮助需要帮助的孩子。

这是一次不一样的破茧成长之旅！
如何让青少年通过领导力去影响和动员大家为共同的愿景而努力奋斗，成为未来的领袖？青少年的唯一应对之道是走出课堂，面向未来，不断学习，适应和创造，最终成为一个符合国际标准的leader。每一天我们都有不同的任务，学习批判性思维、学历沟通技能，学会管理时间和团队合作，锤炼勇气和毅力，挑战身体和心理的藩篱，突破自我，完成从儿童到少年的成长蜕变。
这是一场国际文化浸染之旅！
我们不仅一起体验丰富的少数民族文化，穿越世界上最壮观的水稻梯田，感受先人改造自然的神奇，同时，也体验鹰赛国际团队带来的多元人文文化，与全国各地甚至世界各地的不同家庭环境和文化背景的同龄人结交朋友，体验西方的户外教育方式，为接受高等教育和留学做准备。
This 7 day Yangshuo programme will focus on students discovering their inner selves and learning to identify their own strengths and weaknesses by challenging what they think they are and are not capable of. Adventure activities such as rock climbing & abseiling will test students mentally as well as physically as they gradually step out of their comfort zones.
Guangxi is one of China’s least developed provinces, steeped in rich minority culture with a landscape dominated by unique karst mountains. Scattered with untouched, and often hidden natural treasures, Yangshuo is where Insight calls home, and has quickly developed into China's adventure capital.
A range of other cultural and teamwork activities help to promote international awareness, mindfulness, leadership development, communication skills and critical thinking.

Day 1 - Sunday
Welcome to camp!
Home - Guilin - Longsheng Guesthouse
Students will be met in Guilin airport transferred by coach to Longsheng's famous rice terraces. Upon arrival, students will be paired up with a room buddy of the same gender and checked into their guesthouse before camp introductions and a range of icebreaker and team building challenges to get students settled and exicted for the week to come.
Day 2 - Monday
Following The Dragons Spine
Longsheng Rice Terrace Hiking
Day 2 is a culturally immersive hike through some of the most spectacular rice terraced land in the world. Build more than 650 years ago and dubbed “The Dragon’s Spine” due to the winding, scaly nature of the region. The evening is spent reflecting and bonding with other students.

Living and learning together as a team.
Longsheng - Yangshuo
A morning transfer to Yangshuo, hotel check-in and off to explore the hidden treasures of Yangshuo's famous West Street. Students will have specific, real-world tasks to complete as a team which challenge their communication and leadership skills followed by a delicious local meal & reflection activities in the evening.

活动安排：攀岩，射箭和户外生存技能。
小知识：攀岩运动有“岩壁芭蕾”、“峭壁上的艺术体操”等美称，富有很强的技巧性，同时也需要挑战学员们的勇气和毅力。我们的教练不仅会教授攀岩的基础绳结技术，同时也鼓励营员们在攀爬中不要轻易放弃，学会风险评估和管理。我们的身体能够克服多大的物理困难，将来在人生中也同样可以承受和迎接同样难度的挑战，管理好生活和学习中的各项安排。晚上营员们要为自己准备晚餐、搭建帐篷和野外露营，学习只有在学校之外才能学到的很多有用的生存技能。

Rock Climbing, Archery & Camp Cooking
Yangshuo - Fuli Basecamp Camping
Just a short drive from Yangshuo, Insight's very own basecamp is set amongst the karst in some of the regions most stunning farmland. Through rock climbing and archery sessions, students will have the opportunity to test themselves mentally as well as physically. Preparing their own food for the evening and camping teaches valuable skills for life after school.

小知识：速降，源自高山探险下撤保护技术，在抢险、运输和军事突袭行动中也经常使用，是绳结技术应用非常多的一项活动。对于初次体验的营员而言，是挑战自己，突破自我的一项活动。不仅要克服对高度、速度的恐惧，也要具备勇往直前、坚持到底的决心。鹰赛的速降活动将至少安排五名专业教练进行此项活动。
基础装备：包括安全头盔、安全带、主锁、8字环、静力绳、手套等
Day 5 - Thursday
Abseiling, Orienteering & Navigation
Fuli Basecamp - Yangshuo Hotels
After a good night's sleep, Day 5 starts off with some morning warm up exercises before an orienteering and navigating themselves to our nearby abseiling site where they'll step out of their comfort zone and literally go over the edge, all under the supervision of Insight's internationally trained vertical instructors.

小知识：户外探洞，对很多人来说还比较陌生。黑暗和丧失方向感是绝大多数人从未体验过的，黑暗、幽闭带来的紧张和恐惧远远大于人对洞穴里奇形怪状风光的好奇。探洞正是这样一种挑战。探洞的魅力就在于你永远不知道下一步会看见什么，会发现什么，能满足你无限的想象，和不断探索的欲望。进入洞穴深处对技术要求比较高，在洞穴探险中会使用单绳升降、攀岩、游泳、救援急救的技术，没有专业教练的带领，请勿轻易尝试。

Caving & Traditional Fan Painting
Experiencing the REAL Yangshuo
Insight Adventures strives to embrace different customs, languages and ideas, through curiosity and acceptance and of course, lots of fun. Day 6 immerses students in some of the traditional customs of the local people as well as teaching students about the environmental factors that have contributed to the areas incredible landscape.

Morning Hike, Farewells & Travel Home

With a morning hike up to one of Yangshuo's most spectacular look out sites before breakfast, student participate in a programme completion ceremony where they will reflect on what they've learnt together over the last week and receive detailed feedback from our facilitators. A short trip to the airport, students and staff say their farewells before heading home.

My child’s English level is not high, what if they cannot understand the instructors?
All of Insight’s programmes are facilitated in English, this is a great opportunity for those not fluent in English to immerse themselves in the language. However, there are always mandarin speakers to help give instructions.
How may kids will be in one group?
Groups normally have around 14 or 15 students and are never larger than 18.

是的。鹰赛探险在上海有合法注册的公司－上海唯联国际旅行社有限公司。我们的营业执照在这里。
你们的员工来自哪里？他们有什么资质可以带领孩子们?
我们的员工来自世界各地！通过一整套完善的筛选和培训员工的方案，不仅能让我们找到最符合条件的人，并且按照国际标准来培训他们。
如果在活动中发生意外情况有保险适用吗？
所有的营地教练都具备野外急救国际认证资质，他们在处理紧急情况方面训练有素。我们为每一位营员都购买美亚的团队意外险。点此获取相关规定。
为什么要让孩子参加户外教育？
很简单，户外教育是国际公认的能帮助孩子们更好的认识自己，他人和周围环境的一项活动，它的功能是家庭教育和传统学校教育无法替代和覆盖到的。
对参加者的年龄段有严格规定吗？大一岁或小一岁能否参加？
所设置的年龄段更多是指导性的，不是硬性要求。鹰赛每一个项目都是按一定的年龄层设计，如果您的孩子不在该年龄等级，那么或许这个项目不是最适合他／她的。
需要为孩子的出行准备些什么呢？
在以上的课程描述里可以找到每一个目的地的旅行装备清单。
孩子们能携带手机，iPad和电脑等电子产品吗？
我们的营地教育是给孩子们创造一个在真实世界里与同龄人交往的机会。他们可以携带手机，白天活动时间教练会收掉他们的手机，确保他们注意力集中，认真参与。晚上熄灯时也会回收手机，让他们好好休息。iPad，电脑和其他电子产品不能携带。
需要准备多少零钱？
鹰赛的每个营地项目期间都是吃住行全包的，所以您的孩子不需要花钱。如果您还是想为他们备一些零钱的话，200-300元就够了。
孩子们如何去往营地？
每个营地都有往返于上海的航班，这两个城市我们会派工作人员前往带领孩子们。
请参考课程介绍里面的航班信息。
鹰赛可以帮我预定航班吗？
有来自全国各地的孩子报名参加夏令营，机票请家长们自行预定，感谢理解！
我的孩子需要选择不同于课程介绍里指定的航班出行，该如何选择到达和离开时间呢？
如果您的孩子没有选择鹰赛指定的航班，那么务必注意他／她到达和离港的时间不能晚于下午四点。
我的孩子必须迟到或者早退，鹰赛能为他／她的出行提供帮助吗？
所有营员都应该全程参与项目。抱歉无法为迟到早退的孩子提供特殊安排。
家长可以一起参加吗？
除了这个内蒙古青年领袖训练营，家长可以陪同幼小的或无法按指定航班从上海出发的孩子来营地。因为营地教育的一个主旨是培养孩子们独立自主的能力和社会交往能力，所以家长不能参与孩子们的活动，否则将给他们的学习带来不利影响。
监护人如何注册付费？
监护人的收费与学生相同。可以通过相同的注册付费通道操作。
监护人费用包含哪些内容？
包括标准双人间或三人间住宿，营地的餐饮和交通。
几个孩子安排一间房？
所有的学生和监护人都会入住双人或三人间。
有哪些有效措施保证孩子们夜间不离开房间？
鹰赛教练会24小时负责孩子们安全，酒店工作人员也会协助管理夜间孩子们的安全保卫。
我尝试用银行卡，支付宝或微信支付，但是不成功，能付现金吗？
有很多方式可以实现支付，一种不成功就请试试其他方法，或者联系银行，支付宝，腾讯公司。这些支付公司有时会有每日支付限额，可能需要调整。我们不接受现金支付。
教练学生配比是怎样的？
教练学生配比通常在1:6至1:8之间，有时会根据特殊情况有所增减。
如果报名后因为各种原因无法成行，如何退款？
请参考当初注册付款程序里面的退款政策。退款申请请发至：
是的，每个营都建有微信群，家长可以每天在此查看更新和活动照片。
晚餐后还有活动吗？如果有，几点结束？
晚上的活动主要是团队挑战游戏和一天课程回顾，一般9点左右就结束了。

我的孩子英文不算好，如果听不懂教练的指导怎么办？
鹰赛所有的项目都是全英文的。对于英文不熟练的孩子来说是极好的锻炼学习机会。我们也配有中国教练以便随时帮助需要帮助的孩子。
一个团大约有多少孩子？
一般在14-15个左右，不会超过18个。
