This club is a combination of teaching theory and practice. Students will learn through hands-on practice how to transform organic waste from their garden or kitchen into a useable soil enrichment product called compost. In the meantime, students will also study the science involved in composting, and separate the micro-organisms within the soil and compost. By learning, reflecting and practicing, it is expected 1. students will attempt to start composting at home; 2. grow to appreciate the laws of nature, and how human can play an active role in environmental sustainability to care for our mother earth. Participating students are supported to gain SA credits. 本俱乐部是教学理论与实践相结合。学生将透过实践，学习如何将花园或厨房的有机残渣转化为可用的土壤肥化产品，即堆肥。同时，学生还将学习堆肥所涉及的科学知识，以及分离土壤和堆肥中的微生物。通过学习、反思和实践，学生 1. 尝试开始在家堆肥；2. 将提高对自然规律的觉知和人怎样能对环境可持续性积极扮演保护地球的角色。本俱乐是支持 SA 作业。
