On November 8 & 9, 2018 ELG will be offering developmental milestones checks on-site at Concordia International School Shanghai. The purpose of the developmental milestones checks is to understand your child’s current developmental levels in relation to their chronological age. The developmental milestones checks include communication (speech and language development) and motor (fine and gross motor) skills. A speech-language pathologist, occupational therapist, and physical therapist will undertake developmental milestones activities with each child, and an individual developmental milestones check results report will be provided.
Developmental milestones checks provide an opportunity for you to learn more about your child’s development and are not mandatory. If you would like a developmental milestones check to be undertaken in respect of your child, please complete the below ‘Consent Form’. It is essential that you indicate your child’s primary language, as the developmental milestones check tools are standardized in English. We welcome you to join us and translate for your child, if you feel this is necessary.
You will receive a confirmation email and an SMS message with PDF document confirming the time booked for your child. Open the PDF attachment to verify the time scheduled.
The cost of the multi-disciplinary developmental milestones check is 250 RMB per child.
The information obtained about your child’s development will be immediately shared with you in-person. By email, you will then receive a developmental milestones check results report completed by the specialists, which includes a short summary of findings and recommendations, indicating whether follow-up with a specialist is recommended for your child. This confidential report will be shared with Concordia International School Shanghai and a copy will be kept at our offices in case you have further questions. After the developmental milestones checks are completed, parents can contact ELG to seek additional support as needed.
学建将于在提供发育成长里程碑速查服务。发育情况检查旨在根据孩子的实足年龄了解其当前的成长水平。检查包括沟通（言语语言发育）和运动（精细运动和粗大运动）技巧。职能健康专家、物理健康专家以及言语语言病理学家将负责具体的检查工作，并将根据检查结果出具一份发育情况检查报告。
发育成长里程碑速查是一项自愿活动，其可以让您了解更多有关孩子成长的情况。如果您希望孩子参加发育情况检查，请填写随附的《同意书》。由于检查工具均统一采用英语，因此请您务必写明孩子的第一语言。我们欢迎您能够前来并对活动进行监督。如果您认为有必要，也可以在活动期间为孩子进行翻译。
您将会在收到的确认电邮的附件及短信中看到确认的预约时间。
多学科速查的费用为人民币250元/每人。
我们会在第一时间告知您关于孩子的发育情况。您将收到一份由专家编写的发育情况检查结果报告。该报告包括筛查结果概述和相关建议。建议包括是否需要由专家做进一步跟进。该报告为保密信息并将与上海协和国际外籍人员子女学校共享。报告副本将存放于学建办公室，以便后续为您答疑解惑。检查完成后，父母可以联系学建以获得更多的帮助。
