    Content: What is Small Talk? Small talk = pleasant conversation about common interests Why can making small talk be difficult for English learners? Possible causes are: - Need for a wider range of English words and expressions, with many different topics. - Most English learners have a better foundation of English vocabulary in certain areas (e.g. work related), and have difficulty expressing themselves in unfamiliar situations. - Lack of vocabulary hinders communication and leads to lack of confidence This course will help you to improve "Small Talk" Skills and build your confidence to make conversation with foreign business partners or friends in casual, cross-cultural social settings.
