    This club is for the UPS students. It focuses on archaeology and museums, and it helps the students to think like an archaeologist, to explore the unknown and to satisfy their curiosity. For this season, I have chosen as the theme the most frequently asked questions by my students during the past 10 years, such as "Why the brown masks of Sanxingdui Ruins in Sichuan basin look so mysterious?" or like, "What exactly is the color of "qing", the main element of Qinghuaci (the blue and white porcelain)? As a cultural symbol of ancient China, why did Qinghuaci porcelain appear in the Yuan dynasty founded by mongolians?" or "What is the curse of Pharaoh Tutankhamun? Was the Pyramid built by aliens from the Neptune?" or "What are the monster-like gargoyles on the Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris doing? What story are they telling?” Through this season you will acquire: 100,000 Whys and Answers, with perhaps extra Whys. How archaeologists think and the logic of archaeology. Knowledge of some interesting cultural relics and how to appreciate and describe them. How to properly visit museums and try to make use of its resources. 这是面向高小学生的俱乐部，俱乐部以考古学和博物馆为核心，像考古学家一样思考，一起探索未知，满足好奇心！ 三星堆青铜像长得那么怪异甚至荒诞？ 再比如，青花瓷的青究竟是什么颜色？作为古代中国的文化符号，为什么青花瓷在元代被蒙古人发现？又比如，著名的图坦卡蒙法老的诅咒究竟是怎么回事？金字塔是来自海王星的外星人帮忙建造的吗？ 巴黎圣母院立面上千姿百态的小怪兽都是做什么的？他们在向我们讲述怎样的故事？ 通过这个赛季你将收获十万个为什么以及答案；学习考古学家怎么思考，明白考古学的学科逻辑；学会欣赏和描述一件文物，了解若干有趣的文物；学习如何看展览，尝试利用博物馆资源。 Eligible Students: G3-G5 Maximum Number: 20 Time: Monday 15:45-16:45 Club Location: A206 Club Leader: Ms. Xia Ranwei (Guest teacher) Club Fee: 2300 RMB/season Teaching Language: Chinese
