    The Joy of X provides middle school students with the opportunity to solve mathematical problems ranging from basic school curriculum to complex international competitions in a systematic and logical manner. Each club lesson consists of three small sessions: Q&A time (in-school focus), conceptual teaching (in-school focus), and analytical interpretation of its application (real problems from textbooks/competition). Q&A sessions will specifically focus on what questions/problems students have with their in-school math homework. Conceptual teaching will be based on the needs of the students in terms of what they are currently learning and what they will learn in the future (review + preview). Its application's analytical interpretation will be closely related to concepts learned. These three sessions together will effectively stabilize and improve their mathematical thinking approach to various types of problems in future studies. The Joy of X 是为中学部学生提供系统而有逻辑地解决从基础学校课程到复杂国际竞赛等各种数学问题的机会。每节俱乐部课由三个小单元组成: 问答时间(校内)、教学概念(校内重点)、真题解析(校内/竞赛)。问答环节将特别关注学生在学校数学作业中遇到的问题。概念教学将根据学生当前学习和未来学习的需要(复习+预习)。真题解析将与所学的概念密切相关。这三个环节结合在一起，将有效地稳定和提高他们在今后的学习中对各种类型问题的数学思维方式。 Eligible Students: G6-G8 Maximum Number: 15 Time: Friday 15:50-17:00 Club Location: C403 Club Leader: Pearl Li Club Supervisor: Mr. Yang Zhaohui Club Fee: 260 RMB/season Teaching Language: English
