    At science club, students will explore the subjects of STEAM through the lens of sustainability. During each lesson, students will actively engage in a variety of experiments, including making lamps light up with the power of plants and the wind, making plastic from biological materials, harnessing the power of the sun to roast their own marshmallows, and extracting pigments from plants and flowers. Through these activities, they will gain a basic understanding of the scientific and engineering principles behind different methods of sustainable energy generation, the mechanisms behind global warming and sea level rise, and many other processes.
