    Clay Animation, like puppet animation, is a kind of stop-motion animation. By taking pictures of subjects frame by frame and then projecting them continuously to produce characters. Stop-motion animation, as it is commonly referred to, is usually performed by clay puppets or mixed material characters. The production of a clay animation includes the process of script creation, character setting and production, prop scene production, shooting, synthesis and so on. Clay animation works can be described as works of art in animation. Because in the pre-production process, clay animation relies heavily on manual production, which determines the artistic characteristics of clay animation as simple, primitive, colorful, natural, three-dimensional and dreamy. Clay animation is a collection of literature, painting, music, photography, film and other artistic features in one of the artistic expression. 黏（粘）土动画Clay Animation和木偶动画一样，是定格动画的一种。是通过逐格地拍摄对象然后使之连续放映，从而产生仿佛活了一般的人物或你能想象到的任何奇异角色。通常所指的定格动画一般都是由黏土偶，木偶或混合材料的角色来演出的。一部黏土动画的制作包括了脚本创意、角色设定和制作、道具场景制作、拍摄、合成等过程。黏土动画作品可以堪称是动画中的艺术品。因为黏土动画在前期制作过程中，很大依靠手工制作，手工制作决定了黏土动画具有淳朴、原始、色彩丰富、自然、立体、梦幻般的艺术特色。黏土动画是一种集中了文学、绘画、音乐、摄影、电影等多种艺术特征于一体的艺术表现。 Eligible Students: G3-G5 Maximum Number: 20 Time: Thursday 15:45-16:45 Club Location: A212 Club Leader: Ms. Zhang Jingying (Guest teacher) Club Fee: 2400 RMB/season Teaching Language: Chinese
