Produced in Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province — home to the Yunnan Snub-Nosed Monkey Conservation Area.

In October, as the southwest monsoon withdraws from the Yunnan–Guizhou Plateau, the sunlight shines even more intensely on this land. The combination of sunshine, temperature differences, and high altitude gives the small wild apple variety grown here its natural fragrance.
These apple trees grow wild — without fertilizers or pesticides. Once ripe, the apples are harvested, peeled, sliced, and sun-dried, transforming their pure, natural sweetness into dried apple slices.

This is Naren, a Tibetan village nestled beside the Baima Snow Mountain. Surrounded by pristine high-altitude coniferous forests, the village shares its home with a unique neighbor — the Yunnan snub-nosed monkey.
For over 20 years, villagers here have voluntarily protected around 400 of these monkeys and the forests they depend on. Since 2018, with support from Shan Shui Conservation Center, the villagers have worked together through community-based governance structures to develop long-term plans for biodiversity conservation and sustainable livelihoods, including regular patrols and monitoring.

This bag of dried apples is not only a sweet gift from the highlands but also a contribution to ongoing conservation efforts. A portion of the proceeds goes to the Yunnan Snub-Nosed Monkey Conservation Fund, supporting community-led protection initiatives.
