明清两代烧造御用瓷器的“官样”,是在当朝皇帝的旨意并御批下由内府画师手工绘制彩绘或墨线图样，此可谓御用瓷器之母，弥足珍贵。这种由内府或太常寺颁发的，景德镇御窑厂烧造瓷器时当作蓝本的式样，就是通常所说的御窑厂制瓷官样。

In the Ming and Qing dynasties, imperial porcelain was éxclu-sively fired and produced in the kilns of the inner imperial city of Jingdezhen or the Taichang Temple as an "official pattern". The porcelain was hand-painted in black or colour by the emperor's painters only with his permission and according to his wishes. The style of the precious porcelain commissioned by the government can be described as the mother of imperial porcelain and was regarded as blueprint for the style of imperial porcelain.
