旧京地图品类繁多，通常都是木版、石版、珂罗版、蚀刻版、套色印刷等等，但以刺绣工艺为手法，描绘北京内外城的作品十分罕见，民国以前，西方人给大栅栏街起了英文名，叫Embroidered Street，可见八大祥在前门大栅栏地区的商业地位，我们通过对原作图片的修复，让这一伟大的作品再次呈现给世人。

There is a wide variety of categories for old Beijing maps, typically including woodblock prints, stone prints, collotype prints, etchings, and colour lithography, among others. However, works depicting the inner and outer city of Beijing using embroidery as a technique are extremely rare. Prior to the Republic of China era, Westerners gave the Dashilar District an English name, "Embroidered Street," highlighting the commercial importance of the BaDaXiang (八大祥) in the area of Qianmen Dashilan. Through the restoration of the original artwork, we have brought this magnificent piece back to life for the world to see once again.
