GOOD EATS, GOOD TIMES, GOOD CAUSES
 

Founded in 2009 in Beijing with a mission of giving back, Chi Fan For Charity is a modern take of a gala charity dinner. We have organized in cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin and Hong Kong in the past 16 years, raising over 13 million Yuan to support 45+ charities and people in need.
 

As the Chi Fan For Charity - Beijing enters its 16th year, the Chi Fan For Charity Spirit - "Good Eats, Good Times, Good Causes" - has spread awareness widely amongst the community.

Quality Education, Gender Equality, Sustainable Cities and Communities, as well as the Partnerships under the UN-SDGs (United Nation Sustainable Development Goals) framework are of key focus by the CFFC charity fund. We are so proud to be part of this great cause and, together with your support, to make a difference!

As the CFFC community continues growing, a strategy is in place so that the organization is well positioned to capitalize on opportunities via the following means,

• To expand its geographical footprint across China by providing more opportunities for people to enjoy the spirit of CFFC.
• To increase awareness within the community and motivating people to support the cause of the UN-SDGs.
• To bring together CFFC supporters with the goal of aiding vulnerable groups in need across the country.

After careful discussion and professional social impact assessment using the framework of “Sustainability, Expertise, Impact and Efficiency” by Philanthropy in Motion, three non-for-profit charity organizations were appointed as charity recipients of this year’s CFFC charity fund. 

Their charitable activities cover the areas of health care and rural development, which are all under the UN Sustainable Development Goals of "Good Health and Well-Being and Sustainable Cities and Communities".

1. Bethel | 爱百福

爱百福视障人士关爱中心是是一家专注于视障孤儿救助和早期教育的非营利组织。机构采用小班化康复与教学相结合的模式，针对视力障碍儿童的学习特点和学习模式，服务对象为3-16岁视力障碍为主要障碍的儿童。机构谨记使命，为了视障儿童的明天，帮助视障儿童提高学习能力，增强儿童自理能力及自信心，整个团队将为之努力！

Bethel is a non-profit organization that specializes in the rescue and early education of visually impaired orphans, providing professional early education and rehabilitation for visually impaired orphans (specializing in blind children), as well as 24-hour foster care services. Bethel also provides surgical assistance to orphans in need of eye surgery.

2. From Our Eyes | 乡村之眼

云南乡村纪录片与文化研究中心（FOE）成立于2007年，是山水自然保护中心（北京）环境保护项目的一部分，2015年在云南省民政厅注册成立，是一家省级民办非企业。FOE与中国西部的农村社区伙伴合作，推广影像作为文化保护和教育的一种方式，倡导地方生态保护，促进农村可持续发展和东西方对话。

Started as part of an environment protection program of Shan Shui Conservation Center（Beijing）in 2007, Yunnan FROM OUR EYES Rural Documentary And Culture Research Centre (FOE) is a provincial-level private non-enterprise registered with the Yunnan Civil Affairs Department in 2015. In cooperation with rural community partners in western China, FOE promotes videography as a method of cultural preservation and education, advocacy for local ecological protection, and promotion of sustainable rural development and dialogue between the East and the West.

3. Beijing Qingcaodi Charity Foundation | 北京青草地慈善基金会
 

北京青草地慈善基金会在20多年来共帮助养育497名特需孤儿，为他们提供优质的抚育照顾、康复和特教的同时带来生命的转变。始终秉承实现宗旨-尽我们的所能来帮助孤弃儿童和困境儿童，在爱中给他们带来希望、医治和家庭。

The Beijing Qingcaodi Charity Foundation has been committed to children's relief work since 2000, providing them with high-quality nurturing care, rehabilitation and special education, and has set up "House of Hope" orphanage homes in Beijing and Inner Mongolia, which have so far assisted more than 2,500 orphans and children in difficult circumstances.
