签约在Savages主唱Jehnny Beth的独立厂牌POP NOIRE，Lescop以伦敦为大本营，重塑着法语新浪潮的新形态。他的音乐有机融合了Etienne Daho，Taxi Girl和Joy Division，也有人在其中听出了The XX或The Cure的味道。戏剧化、张力十足、教你忍不住起舞，Lescop随时发射纯正的新浪潮电波。

2012年的首张专辑让他一举称为法国音乐的新标杆，频频出席在法国、德国、美国甚至冰岛的大型演出场合。四年之后，Lescop用全新作品《ECHO》再次冲击乐坛，歌词中大量援引经典文学不仅没让他的音乐显得书卷气，反而与来自地下的放肆节拍对撞出了美妙的新意。《ECHO》正是一本展示他隐秘性格与强大精神的自传小说，这张专辑在法国掀起热潮，吉姆莫里森式的摇滚美学与Lescop本人的电音律动，更是融合在他迷人的现场表演中。

时间倒回2010年，Manceau的四位年轻人带着备受瞩目和赞誉的处子EP横空出世。

两年之后，他们通过自己的厂牌Monophonics发行了首张专辑《Life Trafic Jam》，由Tahiti 80乐队的Xavier Boyer与Pedro Resende担纲制作人，这张专辑不仅给他们带来了Transmusicales、Printemps de Bourges、Main Square、Francofolies等法国各大音乐节的演出机会，更把他们的影响力扩散到遥远的日本。JVC将他们的音乐引进日本，这张专辑在日本取得的成功，正是他们与亚洲不解之缘的开始。

他们的巡演旅程不仅包括了大陆、台湾和韩国，并同Yuksek、Juveniles与Clarens结成“法国奇迹之旅”巡演，足迹更延伸到了东南亚。乐队在亚洲的日子不仅给他们带来了许多在这片遥远地域发行音乐的机会，也为他们第二张专辑带来不少灵感。由Julien Vignon(又名Timster)制作、Stéphane "Alf" Briat（曾与Air, Sébastien Tellier, Phoenix, Cassius合作）混音的《I Wanna》充满了他们商标式的旅行与冒险精神。 Manceau的音乐充满流行特质，他们知道如何把他们最爱的有机、原声的Britpop韵味和浪漫摩登的都市气息融在一起。他们的旋律线天真烂漫、又不时闪出暖阳般的辉光，教人过耳难忘。《I Wanna》是一张充满力量的专辑，它的十首歌曲都知道如何抓住你的耳朵，吹开忧郁的迷雾。

Addiction. This is the first feeling one gets when one hears Lescop’s words. Obsession. The second. 

Lescop has been developing his project in London with a new label (Pop Noire Records) handled by Jehnny Beth and John from Savages, reinventing the French New Wave somewhere in between Etienne Daho, Taxi Girl, Joy Division and some might say The XX or The Cure.   Dramatic, danceable, and full of tension, Lescop is a pure new wave thrill. Even before  his selftitled debut in 2012, Hedi Slimane discovered Lescop and through his fotos  helped him to  become a new French icon, playing in every major event in Europe! Four years later, Lescop strikes again with a brand new album, ECHO. At the same time raw, intimate and full of strong characters which could come out of a Dostojewski drama it feels a bit like a literary tour de force. This album (2016) is highly acclaimed in France and gives birth to a new live show merging Lescop ´s electronic sensibilities with a Jim Morrisonesque rock aesthetic.

It was back in 2010 that the 4 members of Manceau reveal themselves to the world thanks to a remarkable and highly noticed first EP. 

Two years later, the quartet reaches the mark of their first album. Surrounding themselves with Xavier Boyer and Pedro Resende from Tahiti 80, Manceau delivers "Life Trafic Jam" which is released on its own label Monophonics. If the album opens them up to the doors of major French festivals (Transmusicales, Printemps de Bourges, Main Square, Francofolies ...), it is all the way to Japan that Manceau’s music travels to. Released over there with JVC, the album encounters a nice success which marks the beginning of a very privileged relationship with the Asian continent. 

Tours in China, Taiwan and South Korea, the French Miracle Tour with Yuksek, Juveniles and Clarens (Indonesia, Korea, China, Taiwan, Singapore) ... The band accumulates dates in Asia and signs several distribution contracts while working underground to the composition of a second album that is released today. 

Produced by Julien Vignon aka Timster and mixed by Stéphane "Alf" Briat (Air, Sébastien Tellier, Phoenix, Cassius ...), "I Wanna" is filled with their trademark traveller and adventurous spirit. Always resolutely pop, Manceau’s music knows how to keep the acoustic and organic skeleton of their Britpop icons while adding a modern touch to it. The melodies sometimes deliciously naïve (Cool Day), sometimes luminous (Beautiful Loser), are always obvious. I Wanna is a journey through ten powerful hits that knows how to land and unveil melancholic treasures (Open Your Eyes).
