If you have yet been familiarized with a strong wave of avant-garde Jazz fused with a sense of punk, come experience the pioneering contemporary Jazz by the two groups of Jazz masters from New York on the 24th and 25th of March.

当今国际爵士音乐界最有创造力的艺术家之一、萨克斯风演奏家David Binney回到中国！这一次，David Binney和Stefano Tamborrino及Louis Cole两名才华横溢的乐手共同组成了三人乐队Tres Tierras，他们将为中国观众带来既前卫又通俗的当代爵士乐演出。

Tres Tierras成立于2016年。

David在佛罗伦萨与Stefano相识，两人因在Simone Graziano的Frontal乐队共同演出而惺惺相惜。

David和Louis Cole在洛杉矶相识，是多年好友，曾多次进行共同创作和演出。

David生活在纽约，他频繁在世界各地进行巡回演出创作，也常制作唱片。由David组建并担任制作人的Donny McCaslin乐队即是David Bowie “Blackstar”乐队的前身。

David Binney, one of the most talented and creative musicians in the international Jazz scene, is coming back to China with his Tres Tierras.

Tres Tierras was formed by David, Stefano Tamborrino and Louis Cole in Los Angeles, California, in 2016.

David met Stefano in Florence, Italy, where they played in Simone Graziano's Frontal group together.

David has known Louis Cole for about 7 years. They met in L.A. and have collaborated on many projects together.

David resides and works in New York City. He travels the world with many different projects. He also produces records and is responsible for putting together and producing the Donny McCaslin Group that became David Bowie's “Blackstar” group. Together they are Tres Tierras.

小号演奏家Cuong Vu，被国际爵士音乐界广泛评论为：爵士乐创新潮流的领导者。Cuong是一名真正独特的爵士乐手，曾以出色的小号演奏技巧与包括David Bowie、Pat Metheny、Laurie Anderson、Dave Douglas及Myra Melfold等人共同演出。

Stomu Takeishi是一名实验爵士贝斯演奏家，一般弹奏无品五弦电贝斯或Klein五弦木贝斯。他常使用循环演奏或其它电子乐技巧，Stomu因其高超的“soundscaping（声音景观创造）”技巧，及精湛的即兴演奏技巧而广受好评。

鼓手Ted Poor于2003年毕业于Eastman音乐学校并移居纽约，深受当地爵士乐及即兴音乐影响。《Modern Drummer》杂志称其表演：“充满冒险精神，真正富有动感，并据有前瞻性”。这种独特的演奏方式，吸引了许多著名爵士音乐家，并在国际爵士鼓手界迅速为Ted带来了极高的声誉和地位。

Cuong Vu is widely recognized by jazz critics as a leader of a generation of innovative musicians. A truly unique musical voice, Cuong has lent his trumpet playing talents to a wide range of artists including Pat Metheny, Laurie Anderson, David Bowie, Dave Douglas, and Myra Melford.

Stomu Takeishi is an experimental jazz bassist, generally playing fretless five-string electric bass guitar, as well as a Klein five-string acoustic bass guitar.  Often using looping or other electronic techniques to enhance the sound of his instrument, Stomu has been widely acclaimed for his musical “soundscaping” abilities and foundational yet generative improvisational approach.

After graduating from the Eastman School of Music in 2003, drummer Ted Poor moved to New York City, where he has made a deep impression on the jazz and improvised music scene.  Modern Drummer describes his playing as “adventurous, truly dynamic, and forward-thinking.” This unique approach has caught the ears of many of jazz’s most established musicians and quickly placed him amongst those drummers most in demand.
