AIA Shanghai is excited to present the long awaited InterContinental Quarry Hotel project tour by JADE+QA.

This tour will be led by Martin Jochman, Dip Arch ARB(UK) RIBA. He will describe the design development from concept to detailed design and show the construction progress of this project explaining how the various technical challenges presented by such an unusual location have been overcome and innovatively resolved. He will also discuss the benefits presented by the choice to go beyond conventional design solutions and to seek new innovative paths in architecture.

Round-trip transportation will be provided. Transportation details will be provided to confirmed attendees.

2.0 Units of AIA Continuing Education (HSW) will be available for members.
