The STEM track is for all you nerdy ladies-- science, technology, engineering and math! In this track we will share the latest and greatest in VR, as well as how you can professionally excel in super technical and male dominated industries.

F&B

The F&B track is for ladies to learn about how to get involved in the restaurant and food industry. From starting your own food brand in China to how to leverage technology and KOLs to bring light to your new food venture. This track will inspire ladies to join the fast-paced industry that is food & drink!

ENTREPRENUERSHIP

Come along, no matter what stage you're at as an entrepreneur to meet like minded, inspiring people and get some tips on managing life in the start up scene in China. We'll have network speed dating, a panel on finance, marketing, law and another on benefits of going through an accelerator vs not doing so. We'll finish with a keynote from Co-Founder of MoBike.

ABOUT OUR BENEFICIARY: EDUCATION IN SIGHT 

One of the greatest challenges to educational equality for rural China is also one of its most overlooked. Across the countryside, 30 million students suffer from poor vision, but don't have access to the care they need. At Education In Sight, our vision is a world where every rural student has access to the eyeglasses they need to see clearly and succeed. We accomplish this by working with local partners to give children free eye exams, eyeglasses, and eye care education directly inside schools, so there are no barriers to clear vision. To date, we have given over 100,000 eye exams, and delivered over 16,700 eyeglasses to children in need. Our goal is to first solve this problem for the 55 poorest counties in Yunnan province by 2020, and then expand beyond to keep getting children the glasses they need.

League of Extraordinary Women (LXW) is a personal and professional development community, focusing on well-rounded female empowerment. In addition to cultivating individual growth, we believe that the foundation of true female empowerment sprouts from building a community of support and resources. Girl Gone International (GGI) is a global community for women who travel in over 110 cities. Each community has it's own community manager that hosts weekly and monthly events. Each community connects through various social media platforms. In China, WeChat is the main form of communication. GGI Shanghai has almost 3000 members, while the newer Beijing and Chengdu communities are also growing at an amazing rate. GGI is also a quarterly magazine that is completely written by the women within its communities. The magazine focuses on travel, lifestyle, health and home among other topics that help us travelling ladies feel more at home in our adopted cities. 

International Professional Women’s Society (IPWS) is a multi-cultural community of professional women from diverse backgrounds, providing the opportunity for personal and professional growth through different platforms. Founded in 1993 as the Expatriate Professional Women's Society, the organization has continued to grow and develop in response to changing times and the evolving role of professional women in China and worldwide, including a rebrand in March 2016 to IPWS. As a global community of women with an international outlook, IPWS members and supporters participate in a variety of events each month throughout the year. 

Women In Leadership League (WILL) is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to empowering women in areas of leadership and lifestyle. WILL incorporates both men and women leaders within the mentorship programs for women to progress in their career and personal life. A wide spectrum of organized events that span beyond leadership workshops and courses but can include cultural experiences such as art exhibitions, concerts, dramas. We are driven to inspire English and Chinese audience alike, on and offline, on and offsite so all articles, documentaries, and mentor's profiles are created in Mandarin and English.

Shanghai Women Leadership Network (SWLN) is a non-profit supportive community based in Shanghai with the aim to empower professional women and entrepreneurs to connect, share and develop as strong leaders in the workplace and bring positive change to our community through philanthropic activities.   The organization regularly hosts customized personal and professional development workshops run by international certified trainers/ coaches and industry leaders, member social networking events, collaborative volunteer activities and community projects that target at the root causes, to help members achieve their potential, advance in their career and drive positive change in the local community through proactive actions.
