受到诸如DeadMau5和Daft Punk蒙面的启发，Marshmello的出现总是伴随着他的棉花糖面具，他的真正身份也至今未被正式揭晓。

尽管匿名，Marshmello的事业却在2015开始飙升，其时他开始在线发布他的混音作品，包括Zedd的“Beautiful Now”，Jack Ü的“Where Are You Now” 等等，也同时开始出现在NewYork的Pier94，California的 Dead festival 以及Miami 音乐周等各种舞台，展示他的舞台魔力。之后陆续与Omar LinX，Ookay，Jauz和Slushii等艺术家合作。在2017年1月，他的作品“Alone”不负众望稳驻美国Billboard 热单前100榜单。

2016，Marshmello 发布了他之前发行的作品的汇编，名之“Joytime”，这个作品集很快取得数字顶级电子专辑榜的第一名。专辑中包含与说唱歌手Omar LinX合作的单曲 “Keep It Mello”。

Marshmello (stylized marshmello) is an electronic dance music producer and DJ. He first gained international recognition by remixing songs by Jack Ü and Zedd, and later collaborated with artists including Omar LinX, Ookay, Jauz and Slushii.  In January 2017, his song "Alone" appeared on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart.

In the spirit of other masked DJs like Deadmau5 and Daft Punk, Marshmello (whose real identity remains a mystery) appears wearing a full-head-covering marshmallow mask.

Despite the anonymity, Marshmello's career blew up in 2015 when he began releasing tracks online, including remixes of Zedd's "Beautiful Now," Jack Ü's "Where Are U Now," and others. From there came shows at New York's Pier 94, Pomona, California's HARD Day of the Dead festival, and Miami Music Week. In 2016, Marshmello released a compilation of his previously released tracks, Joytime, which reached number one on a digital top electronic albums chart. Included on the album was the single "Keep It Mello," featuring rapper Omar LinX.

Slushii 与 Moe Shalizi 经纪下的艺人如Marshmello，Ookay和Jauz等一直保持着良好的合作关系，不断推出广受欢迎的合作作品，另外Slushii更获得Skrillex的支持，曾多次同台，私下密友关系更是让尔等羡慕不已。

Slushii签下品牌Monstercat后于2016年4月20日以该厂牌发行了首支单曲Emptiness。他于2016年5月20日自行发布了名为“Brain Freeze”的七首加强版曲目集，Your EDM给了一个9.2分的评分。Slushii的音乐囊括了融合了氦声，trance元素，trap鼓点和Dubstep drop的现代EDM。

2017年3月，Slushii发行了单曲“Catch Me”，该单曲被描述为具有“弱拍，浩室灵感和低音”。 随后他与Marshmello合作推出热单“Twinbow”，当然这不是他们第一次合作，却是最知名的一次合作。

Julian Scanlan (born May 1, 1997), better known by his stage name Slushii, is an American DJ and electronic music producer based in Los Angeles. He is best known for working with artists managed by Moe Shalizi, such as Marshmello, Ookay and Jauz,and for gaining support from notable dubstep musician and OWSLA-record label founder, Skrillex. 

He became involved with dance music in 2013, using "DJ Swoon" as an alias. One of his SoundCloud posts as DJ Swoon was taken down, having his account permanently deleted.Then he started a new musical project, which was when he first used the stage name "Slushii".

His first single for Canadian label Monstercat, Emptiness, was released on April 20, 2016. He self-released his seven-track debut extended play titled "Brain Freeze" on May 20, 2016. Your EDM gave it a 9.2 out of 10 rating. His musical style includes contemporary EDM production combining helium vocals, giddy trance synths, trap drums, and dubstep drops.

In March 2017, Slushii released a dubstep single titled "Catch Me". It was described as an "upbeat, house-inspired & bass-heavy track". He later collaborated with future bass DJ, Marshmello, for their single "Twinbow," though this is not the first time that they have collaborated.
