FEAST

Food Festival

May 21-22 2016, 12:00-20:00

This May, Shanghai Supperclub will bring together Shanghai's top chefs for a food-focused weekend festival in a new city garden rooftop venue just south of Xintiandi.

Celebrating the best of the local food community, FEAST will feature a roster of Shanghai favorites:

Austin Hu (Madison, The Union Trading Company)

Jason Oakley (Coquille, Scarpetta)

Jiayi + Wenyi Huang (Little Catch)

Jenny Gao (formerly Baoism - new concept to be launched at FEAST!)

Julio Gomez (Tomatito)

Kelley Lee (Liquid Laundry, Tepito)

Pol Garcia (El Patio)

Maya Sittisuntorn + Mauro Pompili (Chikalicious)

Scott + Kim Melvin (Commune Social)

To wash down all of these chefs' delicious dishes, FEAST will have craft beer by local favorite Boxing Cat + newly-available Goose Island, a kegged cocktail bar by Craft Republic, and wine from The Place's own cellars, while Thomas Henry will provide alternative refreshers.

Guests will be able to browse the chefs' offerings, pick up a drink or three, and enjoy music curated by cult Shanghai DJs on the open roof terrace surrounded by an urban garden.

The festival will also be the launch of Shanghai's only F+B-centric events agency, Social Supply. From the same people behind Shanghai Supperclub, best known for hosting iconic monthly dinner parties featuring ever-changing guest chefs, Social Supply will be the event agency that runs the monthly Supperclub dinners while producing everything from bespoke intimate parties all the way up to large corporate events and even festivals. Across all events, Social Supply will continue to focus on unique collaborations with Shanghai's best chefs, suppliers, and spaces.
