On the last weekend of Awesome August, we are going to give you the biggest treat IN OUR HISTORY.

After months of planning, Fatface 24 IS HERE.  

24 Hours of Health and Happiness, Fatface Style.  

On August 24th to 25th, we will take you out to Shunyi's LiuZhuangHu Village, named The Most Beautiful Village by the Beijing Municipal Government (more on that later).  

It's the site of our Organic Farm Partner Shared Harvest, a group of tremendously bright young people working to raise awareness of healthy eating and living through their work with local organic farmers.

经过数月的策划，Fatface 24活动终于落实了。

24小时的健康快乐，以我们独特的风格举行。

8月24-25日，我们将带大家去顺义的刘庄户村，以北京市政府选中为北京最美丽的村庄（我们验证过了！）

此次活动由我们与 分享收获 合作组织。分享收获 是清华大学社区食品安全研究推广中心的合作基地，是由一群热爱农业、希望推动生态农业与可持续生活的年轻人创办的社会企业。

Founder of Shared Harvest, Dr. Shiyan has been an influential advocate of Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) in China, as well as a major proponent of China's organic farming industry.  She is also conducting her post-graduate research in food safety at Tsinghua University.

分享收获CSA创始人，从2008年开始践行有机农业推动中国的社区支持农业CSA，是中国有机农业和社区支持农业的重要推动者，与此同时在清华大学社会学系做关于食品安全方面的博士后研究。

Dr. Ho Pei-Hwa | 何培华博士



Dr. Pei-Hwa Ho has more than 20 years of research, development, start-up, business development, and technology risk management expertise. He has worked with both government agencies (NASA, NIST) as well as corporations (CSC, GM, IBM, Microsoft) spanning Asia, US, Europe, India, and Russia.  His work ranges from space mission simulation, 3D design evaluation, e-commerce, business intelligence, software outsourcing, technology assessment, operational effectiveness, to business strategies.  He is currently a partner of Transglobe International Consulting.

Starting in 2010, Dr. Ho was drawn to China’s agriculture and food chain issues.  He spent a great deal of time in the farm countries across many different provinces and got firsthand knowledge of the challenges in producing safe and nutritious food in China.  He and his firm focus on leveraging information technology and biotechnology to address these challenges.

Dr. Ho was a contributing member of the MPEG-4 International Standards and Society of Automotive Engineers G-13 committees.  He is also an adjunct faculty of Peking University and was among the most popular professors of National Sun Yat-Sen’s EMBA program.

Born and raised in Taiwan, Dr. Ho majored in Biomedical Engineering at Chung-Yuan University.  He holds a Master's degree in Bioengineering, and a Master's and a PhD in Computer and Information Science from the University of Pennsylvania.

何博士有20多年的科研、管理、全球销售和科技风险评估的资历。他曾与美国政府机构 (太空总署（NASA）, 国家标准局（NIST）) 及跨国企业 (CSC, GM, IBM, Microsoft) 合作过，业务跨越亚洲、美洲、欧洲、印度和俄罗斯。 他的工作范围从生物医学研究、太空任务模拟、3D人体工学设计评估、电子商务、金融、 商务智能、电子医疗记录、风险评估到 产业经营策略。他现在是达人寰宇国际管理咨询公司的合伙人。

从2010年起，何博士开始涉足中国的农业，在中国多省的农村投入了大量的时间，对国内作物种植和食品安全面临的挑战有深度的体会。他们的公司就是以信息科技和生物科技为基础对客户在种植安全又营养的农作物方面提供解决方案。

何博士是筹划及建立MPEG-4国际标准和美国汽车工业的软体规格的委员。他热心于社区服务及教学，是北大软微学院的教授，也被台湾中山大学商学院的EMBA学生誉为最优教授之一。

何博士出生於台湾高雄，持有中原大学的生物医学工程学士学位、（美国）长春藤联盟宾夕法尼亚大学的生物工程硕士，计算机及信息科学的硕士跟博士学位。

Here's what we're going to do｜以下是我们的行程:

Day One (August 24th)｜第一天（8月24日）

• Depart at 1:00pm from Dongzhimen Ginza Mall
• Arrive at LiuZhuangHu Village at 3:00pm or thereabouts, check in to Opheburg Villa
• Dive into the fields to hand-pick vegetables for 24 hours of meals
• Relax under the sun and stars with bubbly, freshly roasted lamb and exquisite organic fare prepared by our Chefs

• 下午1500到达刘庄户村欧菲堡国际酒庄，签到然后集合
• 下田采摘我们未来三顿的新鲜蔬菜

Day Two (August 25th)｜第二天（8月25日）

• Healthy Chinese breakfast (for those early birds, let's make our own mantous!)
• Mini-FoodCamp!  We will feature four speakers to share their awesome food stories
• Organic, all vegetarian lunch to power us for the afternoon
• Special trip to the Chinese Underground Tunnels at JiaoZhuangHu Village, just 10 minutes ride away
• Round it up back to the city, arriving at Dongzhimen Ginza Mall by 5:00pm

• 小型FoodCamp讲座！我们将邀请四位美食达人（包括分享收获的创始人石嫣博士）和大家分享美食故事
• 有机全素中餐给大家补充能量

• 返回大城市圆满结束，大约在下午1700到达东直门东方银座广场

Obviously, we had to visit LiuZhuangHu ourselves, just to make sure that that is actually true.  We will let the pictures speak for themselves, below.

Directions: Will be sent to those who are driving
