Welcome to Spring Musical - Cinderella 

Beijing World Youth Academy's Spring Musical Production is a collaborative effort between three different areas of the Arts. Each year Grade 10 students from Visual Arts, Drama, and Music work together to create a "Broadway Experience" for the community. In addition to creating the musical, students learn valuable skills that hone their skill sets, helping them to become well-rounded students. Other grade levels also participate in various roles in this annual event, with students from Grades 6-DP1 serving as backstage crew, stage managers, and with assistant direction. In total over 100 students participate as members of the Cast & Crew, creating costumes, building sets, operating lights & sound, and of course, performing on stage. Thank you for being a valued part of this show, and for your continued support.

　　北京世青国际学校（BWYA）的年度春季音乐剧是一项融合视觉艺术、戏剧和音乐的跨界艺术项目。每年10年级的学生都齐聚一堂贡献自己的一技之长为大家带来一场超凡的“百老汇体验”。除了创作音乐剧之外，学生们会学到多种宝贵的技巧去磨练他们的技能，助于他们朝着多才多艺的方向发展。其他年级的学生在这项年度项目中，也担任了各样的角色，无论是后台工作人员们，还是舞台监督，甚或助理导演，都来自6-11年级学生们。总共超过100名学生作为音乐剧的演职员参与了该项目，涉及戏服设计制作、舞台布景、灯光音效操控等后台工作，当然还有必不可少的舞台表演。感谢每一位参与者，是你们的付出和不懈的支持成就了《灰姑娘》这部音乐剧。

Cinderella (Enchanted Edition)

The timeless enchantment of a magical fairy tale is reborn with the Rodgers & Hammerstein hallmarks of originality, charm and elegance. Originally presented on television in 1957 starring Julie Andrews, Rodgers & Hammerstein's CINDERELLA was the most widely viewed program in the history of the medium. Its recreation in 1965 starring Lesley Ann Warren was no less successful in transporting a new generation to the miraculous kingdom of dreams-come-true, and so was a second remake in 1997, which starred Brandy as Cinderella and Whitney Houston as her Fairy Godmother. As adapted for the stage, with great warmth and more than a touch of hilarity, the hearts of children and adults alike still soar when the slipper fits. This Enchanted Edition is based on the 1997 teleplay.
