You are invited to an Art Jam weekend for Nepal. Join us for a 3-hour art jamming session to create mixed media canvases to support communities affected by the Nepal earthquake. Proceeds from the event will go to the International Medical Corps for delivering aid to the most remote areas. 

Who: families, friends, companies, artists, anyone who want to show care for Nepal

What: Art Jam for Nepal

Where: Underground Garage Gallery in Sihui (Line 1 Sihui Station Exit C2)

When: Sat, May 16 – Sun, May 17  9am-12pm | 2pm-5pm | 6pm-9pm

Minimum donation: 200 RMB

Spots are limited so first come first served! If you cannot come to the event, feel free to visit our Nepal RISE campaign page (bit.ly/nepalrise) to make a donation or upload your own photos or artwork that capture the spirit of Nepal. We will also organize a Cocktail & Art Auction in the following week on May 23, featuring some of the artwork created from the art jam sessions along with pieces donated by local photographers and artists. Stay tuned on our social media channels for more details regarding the event.

This event is part of the global Nepal RISE initiative, coordinated by Philanthropy in Motion (PIM), Seeds Creative Education, and JUMP! Foundation to raise awareness, funds, and support for the communities affected by Nepal earthquake.

Backstory of Nepal RISE: After the 2010 earthquake in Haiti, a rapid fundraising campaign was initiated in Beijing and Hong Kong called Haiti RISE. It successfully raised people's awareness of the plight of the Haitian people and fundraised USD 61,473 that went directly to Partners In Health’s efforts in rebuilding Haiti. These funds were then matched by the Gates Foundation increasing the total amount donated to over USD 120,000. We’re looking to do a similar thing with Nepal RISE. Currently we have Nepal RISE events planned in Beijing, Bangkok, Nanjing, and Hong Kong.

“尼泊尔，站起来！”活动背景

2010年海地大地震后，一场名为“海地，站起来！”的筹款活动迅速在北京和香港发起。该活动成功引了普通民众对海地人民的关注，并筹集到了61,500 美元善款，直接资助非营利组织“健康伙伴”（Partners In Health）在海地的灾后重建活动。我们希望通过“尼泊尔，站起来！”活动达到同样效果。近期，我们将在北京、曼谷、南京和香港举行一系列的“尼泊尔，站起来！”（Nepal RISE)筹款活动。
