As the joyous festival of Durga Puja approaches, we at Shanghai Adda are thrilled to announce the upcoming edition of our annual magazine. This year, our theme is one of critical importance: Global Warming Prevention & Sustainability. Magazine will be designed accordingly.

Our magazine has always been a platform for diverse voices, and this year, we are eager to hear from you on how we can collectively work towards a sustainable future. We also welcome artwork, photography, and other visual expressions that align with our theme.

• Personal Stories: Share your unique experiences related to Durga puja or other cultural festivities.
• Other Topic: Focus on global warming, environmental conservation, sustainable practices, and related subjects.
• Articles and Essays: Provide thoughtful commentary on topics of cultural, social, or historical significance.
• Poetry and Prose: Express yourself through creative writing, whether it be poetry, short stories, or other forms of literature.
• Artwork and Photography: Submit your visual art or photographs that capture the essence of our celebrations and traditions.
• Recipes and Crafts: Share traditional recipes or craft ideas that are close to your heart.

We encourage contributions from all age groups and backgrounds. Whether you’re a seasoned writer or a first-time contributor, your voice and perspective are valuable to us.

Submission Guidelines:

• Format: Please submit your Articles, Essays, Poems, or Stories as Word documents only, with a maximum of 2800 words
• Images: If you wish to include images related to your write-up, kindly attach them as separate JPG files.
• Artwork/Photographs: Ensure all artwork or photos are in JPEG format and high resolution.
• Note: Submissions in PDF format will not be accepted.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Contributors must include a profile picture and a brief bio with their submission. Please provide the bio in a Word document and the picture in a JPG file.
• Ensure all contributions and mandatory requirements are consolidated into one email with all files attached.
