British Nationals in Beijing are invited to the British Ambassador to China’s Residence to watch the BBC broadcast of the UK General Election results as they come through live on the morning of Friday 9 June, 8:00am-11:00am. The event will be held on the Residence Gardens lawn (please bring a rug!). Complimentary tea/coffee and snacks will be available.

All attendees must register for tickets before 12:00pm Thursday 8 June. Each British national is welcome to bring one non-UK national guest, whose details should be entered as part of their registration. Please note: British Nationals should register as a primary attendee. Guests will not be admitted to the event without prior registration.

Please read the detailed registration instructions below:

 
1. You must be a British passport holder or the guest of a British passport holder to attend this event.
2. If you are bringing a non-British national guest please ensure to enter their details as part of your registration form (i.e. British Nationals should register as a primary attendee)
3. Once registered, the British passport holder will receive a confirmation e-mail (including the details of their guest), which you will need to print out and bring to gain entry to the venue.
4. To enter the venue all ticket holders must bring the ID that they used to register.
5. Children under 12 do not require to bring a form of photo ID but do need to be registered separately (i.e. not as a guest of their parent/guardian).
6. The tickets are non-transferrable.
7. If we encounter severe weather conditions (i.e. heavy rain, pollution above 300) the event might be cancelled. However, we will notify you of any changes.
