Application Fee

A non-refundable application fee of RMB 2,500 applies to all new students seeking admission to YCIS Beijing. The Application Fee is an administrative fee that initiates the application review and admission process.

Deposit

Deposit is a one-time, refundable, non-interest-bearing security deposit required to be paid to the School and shall be held by the School for the duration of the student’s enrollment. The School has the right to settle any outstanding fees or amounts owing to the School either prior, during or after the student’s attendance at the school using the Deposit.

The Deposit, after deductions for any amounts owing to the School and in accordance with the School’s Enrollment and Departure Refund Policies and Procedures, will be refunded to the parents within 45 days after all required procedures have been completed.  Late departure notice surcharges will apply for any parents who fail to notify the school of their intended departure by the departure notice dates specified in the Enrollment and Departure Refund Policies and Procedures document.  

Once an Offer of Placement is extended by the school the parent/guardian is required to respond to the offer within 10 days and submit the Deposit upon acceptance of the Offer of Placement. Further details relating to Deposit arrangements in the event of student withdrawal are also made later in this document.

Payment of the Deposit will not, in and of itself, guarantee a school placement; all other admission and school requirements must first be met.
