Lance King, an internationally renowned author, educator, and workshop facilitator who has worked on the development of the MYP, IBDP, and IBCP programmes, is coming to China for the launch of the Chinese version of his book “The Art of Learning - The Importance of Failing Well”. In conjunction to the book launch, he has offered to run free parents’ seminars in bilingual setting, both to international and Chinese communities. We are very excited to host one of Mr King’s parents' workshops, and it will be his second visit to DCB. 

During this parent seminar, Mr King will be delivering some practical advice on how can parents support their children so that they can see challenges as opportunity and setbacks as springboards to success. He will also talk about 21st Century Skills which is specifically targeted to how parents can support their children with 'study skills’.  

The Chinese version of his book will be available for sale after the seminar and you will have the chance of having your book personally signed by Mr King.
