The Gates Cambridge Alumni Association, Oxbridge Society of Shanghai and the Harvard Club of Shanghai, in collaboration with the Harvard Center Shanghai, are delighted to bring to you this panel discussion.

***

What are the challenges to starting up educational initiatives in China today? What are the responsibilities faced by international partnerships in a globalizing world, and how can innovators widen access to international education for all students?

Together, alumni of Cambridge University and Harvard College in the field of education will share their experiences building and leading international start-up organizations in China. The panel will seek new directions and areas for collaborations in the field.

Students, alumni, young innovators in fields of educational technology and exchange, & all interested parties are warmly encouraged to continue the discussion and network after the event.

The evening will open with a brief introduction to the Gates Cambridge Scholarship at Cambridge University, a fully-funded postgraduate opportunity established by Bill and Melinda Gates in 2000 to fund international students "committed to improving the lives of others".
