《希望日记》是由波兰著名电影作曲家兹比格涅夫-普莱斯纳最新创作的一部交响诗，灵感来自于在二战期间波兰大屠杀中遇难儿童的日记和诗歌作品，共有五个乐章。
兹比格涅夫-普莱斯纳是世界范围内顶尖的电影作曲家,在国际上被誉为他同时代中最优秀的作曲家之一. 他曾长年与著名导演基耶斯洛夫斯基合作, 尤其是在电影《红》《白》《蓝》中的配乐为他带来了国际盛誉。
丽莎·杰拉德曾担任多部电影原声的配唱, 多次获得过奥斯卡和金球奖电影配唱提名,她最熟为人知的是在死亡能舞乐队里与布伦丹·佩里的合作。
《希望日记》 自2013年11月在伦敦的巴比肯艺术中心首演后好评如潮，2015年3月27日普莱斯纳和丽莎·杰拉德将联合上海交响乐团，在新落成的上海交响乐团音乐厅为带来这部作品的第二次也是亚洲首次演出。

Leading Polish film composer Zbigniew Preisner conducts the Shanghai Symphony in the Asian première of Diaries of Hope – a new work inspired by the diaries and poems of Polish children who were victims of the Holocaust.
Lisa Gerrard from spellbinding duo Dead Can Dance – nominated for an Oscar for her vocals on major film Gladiator and two Golden Globes for The Insider and Ali – performs in the principal vocal role alongside boy soprano Matthew Price.
Best known for his scores for the films of Krzysztof Kieslowski (Dekalog, The Double Life Of Veronique, Three Colours Blue and more) and for Requiem for my friend, his moving tribute to Kieslowski, Preisner is one of the most celebrated film composers of his generation and recipient of many accolades including a Silver Bear from the Berlin Film Festival and two Césars from the French Film Academy.
