Following the success of six monumental ‘Brawl on the Bund’ events in Shanghai the organizers have now confirmed a series will now be hosted in Beijing in November 2012.

The event is accompanied by a 4 course sit down dinner at the Renaissance Capital Hotel. During dinner, white collar boxers get into the ring and compete against one and another in front of friends, family and colleagues.

Tickets include dinner, free flow wine, beer and cocktails in view of all 7 white collar bouts.

On fight night there will be a live auction and a raffle to raise money for Leo's Foundation Beijing. 100% of all proceeds raised gets donated to the Foundation and we will receive a written confirmation that they have received the funds.

The Foundation for Newborns with Respiratory Failure was established in 2008 in memory of Leo Spirit who was born three months prematurely and were cared for by the staff at Fudan Children's Hospital. Leo passed away in November 2007 due to respiratory failure and the Foundation was set up by Leo’s parents Scott and Cecile Spirit to help fund families unable to afford the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit facilities at the hospital.

Scott and Cecile Spirit are starting Leo's Foundation Beijing. Shanghai Children's Health Foundation has agreed to help implement this initiative. This charity is being set up to support the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Beijing Children's Hospital; this unit is dedicated to helping care for sick newborn babies. The high cost of treatment means that healthcare is often beyond the means of ordinary and low-income families, and this foundation will provide financial support for families that can't afford the treatment. Any cash that goes into the Foundation cannot leave unless signed off by a board of directors at the hospital, that make sure the family that needs the support meet the criteria to receive funding.
