Justin Kim is a Korean-American countertenor, a graduate of Northwestern University in the
States and the Royal Academy of Music in London. He has worked with
artists such as Dame Kiri Te Kanawa, Dennis O'Neill, June Anderson, Malcom
Martineau, Alfred Bendel and Masaaki Suzuki.
During the 2013-2014 season, Justin has won awards ranging from the Les Auzuriales Prize in France,
the Special Engagement Prize at the 4th International Singing Competition for
Baroque Opera in Austria, and he performed his recital debut at the Hollywell
Music Room at Oxford. His operatic roles have included Menelao in Elena by
Cavalli and Idamante in Mozart's Idomeneo in Germany.
