Dear Parents,
We would like to invite expressions of interest for this festival.
Last year’s festival in Jakarta was very enjoyable and we anticipate a lot of interest in going to Bangkok. We are planning to depart Wednesday 14th May in the afternoon and be back early evening on Sunday 18th May. Dr. T will be leading the trip and Mrs. Barthman will also be going (she knows Bangkok particularly well, having previously worked there).
As well as the end of festival concert on the Saturday, there will be a range of activities, entertainment and cultural workshops. It is a fantastic opportunity to meet around 300 musical children who will have travelled to Bangkok from all around Asia.
This festival is open to singers and all instrumentalists (Y7-10 only). As it is an intermediate festival, the level of the music will not be too difficult.
