French language & culture in the digital age
In order to promote a dynamic and innovative image of French, the Institut Français initiated in 2017 the organization of Hackathons all around the world (projects map). The FrenchTech and the Alliance Française joined hands to organize Shanghai’s first French language & digital Hackathon in partnership with the French Consulate.
During the week-end of the 24th to 26th of November, several teams from various horizon will gather at the Alliance Française to brainstorm on the most innovative way to promote French language and culture using digital technology. During the creative stage participants will be supported by mentors with project management, conception and digital background. The first price will be handed out to the best team by Mr Axel Cruau, French Consul of Shanghai at the house of France during the cocktail party. Food and beverages will be provided to all participants during the all event.
The picthes of the different competing teams will be open to public on the Sunday afternoon as of 1 pm. (please register as a guest)
First Price: 4000 RMB + 2 month incubation at OuiCrea + French lessons at the Alliance Française of Shanghai
Other prices include: vouchers to shop at fields, a hotel night in Campanile Shanghai, bottles of French wine...
Agenda :
Friday 24th of Nov at 6 pm :
- 6 pm : Welcoming participants
- 6.30 pm : Introduction of the Hackathon problematic to all participants
Saturday 25th Nov at 8am :
- 8 am : Welcoming participants and creating the teams
- 8.30 am – 10 pm : Hackathon
Sunday 26th Nov at 8 am :
- 8 am - 14.30 pm : Hackathon
- 2.30 pm - 5 pm : Pitches of the projects, open to public
- 7 pm : reception at the House of the Consul and price ceremony

Langue et culture françaises à l’heure du numérique
Dans le but de promouvoir une image dynamique et innovante du français, sous l’impulsion de l’lnstitut français, la French Tech Shanghai en partenariat avec le Consulat Général de France et l’Alliance Française créent le premier Hackathon "Langue française et Innovation numérique" en Chine en s’associant à cette belle initiative mondiale (carte des projets).
Durant le week-end du 24, 25 et 26 novembre, des équipes composées de participants venant d’horizons différents se réunirons à l’Alliance Française de Shanghai pour réfléchir ensemble à des moyens innovants de promotion de la langue et de la culture française en Chine. Appuyées par des mentors spécialisés dans la gestion de projet, la conception et les domaines connexes, ces équipes se livreront à un contre la montre de l’innovation dont le lauréat se verra remettre son prix par Monsieur Axel Cruau, Consul Général de France à Shanghai, lors de la réception de clôture qui se tiendra à la Résidence de France.
Les repas et boissons seront distribués aux participants tout au long de l’événement.
La séance de présentation des réalisations le dimanche de 13h à 17h est ouverte au public.

- 18h : accueil des participants
- 18h30 : Présentation de l’Hackathon et des participant, ouvert au public
Samedi 25 novembre à 8h :
- 8h00 : Accueil des participants et formation des équipes de l’Hackathon
- 8h30 - 22h : Hackathon
Dimanche 26 novembre à 8h :
- 8h00 - 14h30 : Hackathon
- 14h30 -17h : Présentation des travaux, ouvert au public
- 19h : réception à la Résidence de France et annonce des résultats
