Sunday 31st March 2013 sees the 159th Boat Race between crews from the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge. First raced in 1829, the Boat Race is one of the oldest sporting events in the world.

Who will prevail – the Oxford crew, following last year's sinking, or the moreexperienced Cambridge crew?

Get together with your fellow OCCB members to watch the race and support your side. College attire encouraged and friends more than welcome!

When: Sunday 31st March 2013 – 9.30 pm-12.30 am (race starts at 11.30 pm Beijing time)

What: Five free drinks (including beer!) or food tokens from 9.30pm to 12.30 am. Food and other drinks are of course available to purchase from the bar in addition.

Where: Brussels 2nd Floor, 4 Gongti Beilu, Inside Yuanjidian Research Center, 工体北路4号院机电研究院内 (Tel: 6591-9525) - behind the Bookworm

Raffle: please bring your business card to be in with a chance of winning a raffle prize, to include: a voucher for treatment at Dragonfly Spa, a beautiful book about the Boat Race "What It Takes to Earn your Place", and wines from the Wine Republic.

How: Please register in advance, as places are limited. Please note that we cannot offer refunds if you decide not to attend. Advance ticket sales will close at the end of Saturday 30th March.

The ticket price at the door will be 125 rmb for OCCB members and 150 rmb for guests - so there is a 25% discount for registering early, i.e 100 rmb for OCCB members and 120 rmb for their guests.
