Fela来自伦敦,是经国际瑜伽联盟认证的瑜伽导师,师从多位世界著名瑜伽及身心灵导师,包括喜马拉雅瑜伽冥想国际协会创始人及精神领袖Swami Veda,国际著名阿斯汤加瑜伽大师Alex Medin,INSPYA瑜伽中心创始人Lance Schuler,澳洲最古老、最受尊敬的瑜伽学院Yoga Synergy联合创始人Simon Borg-Olivier,以及印度恒河瑜伽学院创始人Rajvi Chanchani。

What could be more refreshing than a good night’s sleep? In-ner body meditation. 
The meditation starts with gentle stretches which lubricate your joints and opens up passageways in your body, to get your blood circulating more efficiently. Then as you lie down comfortably, your focus is introduced into the depth of your body, traveling from your head to toes. Everything melts away in the process, toxins and traumatic memories fade away. A warm relaxation envelops your body and heart again. 



You are welcomed to record this session and revisit the expe-rience whenever you find it difficult to fall asleep or loosen the grip of your mind.

Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga is a renowned form of slow-paced, maximum-stretch movements synonymous with holding the body in elas-tic postures for long periods of time, strengthening connective tissue (especially deeper tissue). The practice greatly helps in body-shaping.

Another dimension of this yoga genre is its deep muscle and fascia relaxation. Through passive postures and gravity work-ing together, it slowly opens up the body, and slowly stimu-lates the whole-body vein system to achieve thorough relaxa-tion, thus balancing the Yin and Yang of the body.

Introducing the five elements of mind-body-spirit health

Ancient Indian philosophies explain life evolvement by utiliz-ing the trinity model – yoga (the science of mind), ayurveda (the science of form and matter), and Jyotish (the science of spirit). Talking about any of the topics automatically evokes the knowledge of the others. 

Ayurveda complements your yoga practice with the right food choice based on your dosha (element) type, by combining pranayama to balance your body and mind, bringing you vi-tality and flexibility. Besides, it proposes and encourages learning, empathy and compassion, to expand your mind. 

This is 40-minute workshop consists of an introduction to the trinity of Indian culture and about 75 minutes customized yo-ga based on the five elements theory.

Backbends
Build a healthy, flexible spine

Backbends are essential for a healthy spine. They open the heart and stimulate circulation in the whole spinal column and they are a powerful medicine to achieve emotional bal-ance. 

In this workshop, we will open the entire front body, with em-phasis on the heart center.  We will flow through a sequence of postures that will bring your heart chakra back into balance and harmony; Explore many different ways of working with and without props, along with the physical, psychological and spiritual aspects of a backbend.

In addition, we will also bring more awareness to pranayama and ujjayi breathing in this workshop, as the lungs are an in-tegral part of this area of the body. Your heart will dance through the fine art of balancing and effortless surrender.

The idea of therapeutic yoga is to be as completely comforta-ble and relaxed as possible. It takes time for the nervous sys-tem to calm down, so the postures are held for a longer period of time, typically 5 minutes or more. 

We make ample use of the ‘props’ available, including blan-kets, bolsters, eye bags, blocks, sand bags – whatever we can find that helps us to be comfortable and supported in the pos-tures. Rather than going for maximum stretch, we are explor-ing deep, sustained, nurturing relaxation.

Restorative yoga practices calm us down when we are overly ‘hyped up’, and give us an energy boost, when we are drained or tired - in other words, it encourages our para-sympathetic nervous system to dominate, leading to a state of calm. It is a healing practice that brings the body, mind, and nervous sys-tem into balance, especially for people with sub-optimal health conditions.

About Octave Practitioners

Fela Adebiyi 
Octave head practitioner of mind and body

Raised in East London, Fela Adebiyi has extensive interna-tional experience as a yoga teacher. He is a long-time student of the meditative arts following the Himalayan traditions and Buddhist studies, beginning with Vipassana. Fela began studying Iyengar yoga in 1991 and 6 years later began study-ing Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga with Alex Medin.

Fela has been teaching in Europe and Asia for more than fif-teen years. His teaching style is unique in being able to weave together poetic metaphor with clear instruction filled with compassion and humor. 

Lilian Lei

Lilian completed RYT200 hours of US Yoga Alliance in 2006 and RYT500 hours of US Yoga Alliance in 2009. She became 300 hours certified teacher of Inspya Pan South Pacific Yoga Institute in 2009. She has attended many international yoga gatherings in Hong Kong and Shanghai since 2003 and has garnered teaching experience of more than 7,000 hours.

Anne Lu

Anne is a certified ERYT-500 hours yoga teacher. She has yo-ga training of over 5,000 hours with Lance Schuler, who is the founder of Integral Hatha Yoga, and extensive training in Ayurveda, Ashtanga, Yin Yoga, Yoga philosophy, Functional anatomy, Myofascia release, NLP. She’s a yoga teacher much recognized and recommended by students and top teachers of yoga from around the world.
