For this year's year 4/year 5 production, we wanted to give a little 'twist' to a familiar fairytale. Beauty and the Beasts does just that.  Note the plural 'Beasts' in the title. Our story is not about a lovely, sweet-as-pie princess and an outcast monster.  It is about a horrible, wicked, awful young lady (the 'Beauty'), her three downtrodden and unappreciated friends and a trio of gnarly monsters, all three of whom are kind-hearted souls.  We do not want to spoil the (many) surprises in store, but there are dopey villagers, money-grabbers, outlandish hunters, brilliant acting, singing and dancing, plenty of jokes and the most disastrous dinner party ever held. And the script is written by our very own talented Mr Hicks. 

Congratulations to all the cast who have consistently demonstrated a combination of excellent performance skills, attitudes,and behaviours. There has been a real buzz during rehearsals. The children are excited to share the skills they have developed in their lessons.
