ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Lucas, originally from Switzerland, is the CEO of nihub Innovation Center. He has lived in Hangzhou since 2005.
His life as an entrepreneur started in 2015 when he registered an internet technology company, leading a team to develop NiHao APP, a platform for foreigners living in China.
Lucas then went on to found nihub Innovation Center, a services platform for foreign entrepreneurs in China. Through investment and operational services, Lucas and the nihub team work everyday to facilitate foreign innovation in China and bridge the gap between western and foreign markets.

Attendees will be given an overview on raising money in China - What are the local norms in the investment world and how much should entrepreneurs and startups raise? Entrepreneurs/startups will learn how to calculate their budget and burn rate to last 12-18 months. In addition, attendees will learn how to format their deck - What information NEEDS to be in a pitch and what are the most common mistakes? Lucas will run through some of the best and worst pitch decks and explain why some work and some don’t. The event will close out with a lively Q&A session.
