About BOUNDARY

In this world, everything has its boundary, and all things are interacted and mixed with each during contact.

Some boundaries cannot be crossed, however some need to be challenged.

Different people hold different understandings of the "boundary":

Geometricians say, the boundary is a line. It delineates the scope and defines the difference.

Historians say, the boundary is the length. It makes the history own the time, gives the reason for the time, and makes the life could be traced back.

Geologists say, the boundary is the domain. It puts countries own their territory, lets human beings have their space, makes the world have its limitation.

Artists say, the boundary is a kind of spirit. It makes all things have their traits and hence, everything different.

Pioneers say, the boundary is a decision. Once you were beginning, the world changes.

World champions say, the boundary is the limit of self. It gives human beings the goal, the courage and the motivation for a breakthrough.

Time travelers say, the boundary is the moments. It causes the joints of the past and the future, which consist of life, then every second is so valuable.

We all say: "Heart goes beyond!"

Then, there are more and more trailblazers in the world.

As a result, the process of human civilization is speeding.

Thus, the life which we own limited and bounded, now reformed into eternity with infinite implication and unlimited inheritance.

Then, everything on earth are interacted with each sparking the lights which was extraordinarily excitingly for us.

Cross the boundary,

Give a way, rather than stick into;

Taste, rather than give a definition;

Work miracles, rather than make formality.

Nariya Nogi 

Pianist

Born in Japan, Nariya Nogi (Mr. Shixian Bao) is a pianist with excellent skills and outstanding performance. Started playing piano since a young age, he has been mentored by Ms. Huiqiao Bao and Mr. Dominque Merlet. Since 2001, Nariya (Shixian) has been prize winners in many international piano competitions; and now he is one of the China's youngest pianists renowned in the world. In 2014, the judge panel awarded him the prestigious Prix Cortot, and the piano master Aldo Ciccolini praised him as a "well-deserved champion". The Pianist magazine recognized him as the most potential pianist in the next decade.

Guohui Han

TV media producer

Han entered Hainan Broadcasting Group in 2000 and has become the chairman and CEO of its Travel Channel since July 2011. He is now responsible for the overall operation of the Travel Channel. He supervised and produced many programs, many of which have won national or international awards. In addition, he is a promoter and pioneer of T2O(TV to Online). In 2015, he led an industrial transformation of the Travel Channel which ushered in the era of T2O media industry. He published the best-seller of Don’t be Angry, I’m NOT Talking About You with Zuoxiao Zuzhou, a famous singer.

Mengfan Zhang

Firefighter in the Tianjin 8.12 Explosion

Mengfan Zhang is a veteran survivor of the Tianjin Explosion in August 2015. He bravely sought for his missing teammates and rescued them from the fire. After that, he consoled families who had lost their beloved ones in the explosion; assisted volunteers and their work; and spoke for firefighters. His speeches and interviews helped people gain more insights about responsibilities of being a firefighter. Later on, he continued to visit families of his fallen colleagues and to present the whole story as part of his efforts to remain true to his colleagues and the great profession of his duty.

Shitou Yang

Entrepreneur, President and Chief Executive Officer of Think3group

Mr. Yang focuses on multi-dimensional strategy of West Point (the United States Military Academy); and the founder of multi-dimensional marketing structure in China. He has served as a judge for the globally recognized competition of Super Brands (China) as well as two national marketing competitions in China. He was appointed as the official implementation consultant for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Organizing Committee, and the executive adviser in the 2011 World University Games.

Prior to that, Mr. Yang has also worked as the executive director of business development for Ogilvy & Mather North China and was heavily involved in branding, product planning, and promotion of companies like BMW, Red Bull, Wanda, and 360, etc. He is one of key promoters for blockbusters such as Lost in Hong Kong and Kung Fu Panda 3. He is an invited guest for a CCTV program called Voice of Chinese Youth and two TV shows on career building.

Sheng Lei
Chinese Foil Fencer, Olympic champion
Sheng Lei is one of the Chinese National Fencing Team, and the champion at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. He achieved the breakthrough – winning the first gold medal in fencing – in China’s history. He was the flag-bearer for the Chinese Delegation at the opening ceremony of the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. 
In 2009, Sheng was admitted by Peking University and he studied Advertisement and Media as his major. Three years later, in 2014, he continued his study in the Guanghua School of Management of Peking University and graduated with a degree in MBA. Excelling in both sports and academics, he is truly an "academic fencer".

Kevin Huang

Founder of CORD (Chinese Organization for Rare Disorders)

Kevin Huang is the founder of CORD (Chinese Organization for Rare Disorders) and Gendi Healthcare. As a patient of rare diseases himself, Kevin Huang held a personal motivation to introduce rare disease research into China via public welfare programs and initiatives he’s coordinated over the past 10 years. Mr.Huang is also dedicated to enhancing public understanding of rare diseases and aims to facilitate the development of treatments for rare diseases in China. Kevin Huang stands as a pioneer of and an icon for the field of rare diseases.

Qinya Guo

CEO of a startup VR company

Virtual Reality Director, Co-Founder & CEO of Lumiere VR

Ms. Guo is one of the first members of HTC VIVE X team. She studied in both the Department of Film and Electronic Arts and the Department of Political Studies at Bard College, where she also minored in theatre performance. After Bard, she went to Columbia University to study film production. She was the one of the first entrepreneurs to enter VR industry, way before it became popular. She is the founder of the company Lumiere VR. She is currently using machine learning and algorithms to build solutions that would help VR photographers to achieve virtual reality in mobile shooting. This time with TEDxBohaiBay, she will share the secret of how women, art and technology can work together.

Yanlong GE

Architect

Yanlong Ge is the designer of the WEMOVE ecological intelligent mobile tent. After graduating from Nanjing University in 1999, he went to study at the University of Stuttgart, where he received an architecture degree. He went on to become an expert in scenic planning and product design. As a serial entrepreneur, Yanlong founded an architectural firm called AUVIDesign. He and his team have completed a number of well-known projects on the integration and application of ecological technology in the construction field.  As an architect as well as a product designer, Yanlong has independently designed a migratory ecological smart mobile tent, which enabled human-nature integration and freed the architecture.

Brooks Pan

CEO of a technology company

Brooks Pan, born in Shan Dong province of China, made his debut as a teenage writer. After finding fame in writing, he transitioned into the aviation technology industry and founded Beijing Shareco Technologies Company; a company dedicated to providing in-flight connectivity to airlines and building an ecosystem in the cabin that will create unique in-flight experiences for passengers and airlines. Within only 4 years, Mr. Pan has extended the availability of in-flight connectivity to more than 10 airlines. He promises to redefine the flight experience of millions of people in the future.

Jingjing Cai

Founder of internet security education platform

Mr. Cai is a national information security expert, a member of China Vulnerability Database Expert Committee, the "bellwether of anti-hacking” of Beijing Olympic Games. He has taken on plenty of information security research projects, the National 863 project, priority projects of the Ministry of science and technology, and Nuclear high-based projects along with other national scientific research projects.

As one of the most experienced experts in the field of information security in China, Mr. Cai. has been a close follower of the cutting technology in the field, and was dedicated to innovative research in the past 15 years. In 2015, he founded iChunqiu, an online platform of internet security education. iChunqiu aims at fostering internet security experts for future online world via online education, use the technology to serve people by providing people with the much-needed online security in the age of information.

Bruce Peng

President of Yidao Yongche and Chief Marketing Officer of LeEco

Prior to joining Yidao, Mr. Peng served as the vice president of Letv.com, the senior vice president of Letv, and the CMO of LeEco smart hardware division. He is responsible for marketing and operations, and has built a series of super brands for LeEco smart devices, Letv Box, Letv TV, and Letv Mobile being the most successful ones.

Mr. Peng is interested in military and history – the history of Northern-Southern Dynasties in particular, when China went through split-ups and reunions. His management methodology and practical work experience are greatly inspired by the integration and diversity of that period. The period has also motivated him to break up boundaries, and to reinvent the relations of hardware and Internet for more breakthroughs.

Liankui Gao

Economist

Gao is currently the Head of China and World Governance Research Program at Renmin University of China. As guest and commentator of CCTV, Phoenix TV and many other channels, he is a well-known Chinese economist in China. His research interests include theoretical economics, macroeconomic, comparative institutional analysis, social security, etc. He specialized in interdisciplinary, comprehensive and systematic research on Chinese issues, and is among the most quoted experts in China.

Tao Duan

President of Shanghai First Maternity and Infant Hospital

Duan Tao is the president of Shanghai First Maternity and Infant Hospital, director of the International Association of Perinatal Medicine, director of the Fetal Medicine Society, the honorary chairman of the China Perinatal Society, and the former chairman of the Shanghai Obstetrics and Gynecology Society. He has edited and translated 12 gynecology monographs, and is currently the leader of the leading National Natural Science Foundation project. In addition, he also is an online celebrity who uses social media sites to share and spread scientific knowledge with over 290,000 followers on Sina Weibo, the Chinese Twitter, and 140,000 followers on Wechat.

Bingshu Zhong

Head of Beijing’s Sport Center

Dr. Zhong Bingshu is among the first experts to be included in the New Century Talents Project funded by the Ministry of Personnel. He is the President of the Capital Institute of Physical Education, the Head of the Key Laboratory of Sports Training of the State Sports General Administration and the President of the China Higher Education Institute. Besides, he also holds international positions such as Vice-Chairman of Coaching Education Committee and member of FISU Board of Education. He engaged in not only physical education and training, but also sports, humanities, sociology and higher education management teaching and research. He has published more than 40 books and translations in the field, and over 300 papers. He has developed a series of lectures and courses which are highly rated by the students. He is also invited as keynote speaker to many many international academic conferences.

Qingshun Huo

Inheritor of the National Intangible Culture Heritage.

 Huo Qingshun is born into the sixth generation of a Wood-Block Prints making family and has inherited the old and famous brand Yangliuqing ‘Yu Cheng Wood-Block Prints Workshop’. He is recognized as one of the inheritors of the National Intangible Culture Heritage. He never stopped researching, drawing, printing and practicing the Wood-Block Prints Art, and has continuously promoted the traditional New Year Wood-block Art Works and its unique making processes of sketching, carving, printing, drawing and mounting. To further develop Chinese Traditional Culture, Mr. Huo and his family have restored the old and famous brand - Yangliuqing New Year Wood-block Prints Workshop. They have made innovations in block prints art technics. In 2007, Mr. Huo Qingshun was awarded as “The OutStanding Inheritor of Chinese Folk Arts”, courtesy of Chinese Federation of Literature and Art Cirles and China Federation of Literature and Art Society.

Jinfang Hao

The winner of Hugo Award for best novelette

Besides being a female writer, Hao is also the deputy division director of the China Development Research Foundation. She got both her bachelor degree in Physics and her Ph.D degree in economics from Tsinghua University. She is currently engaged in macroeconomic policy research. As a renowned writer, her works include novels like Wandering the sky, Born in 1984,  and short collections of "to the distance", "lonely" and prose collection”time in Europe”. In 2016, her short science fiction story, Folding Beijing won her the 74^th Hugo Award by World Science Fiction Society.

Tony Chou is the host of Redily Chou, the first international talk show program to be hosted by a Chinese. He is also the first bilingual talk show host from Mainland China who is active on the international stage. Tony has been invited to perform talk shows in English in the United States, Ireland, Thailand, and Hong Kong. His stories were covered by media at home and abroad, among which are New York Times, BBC Radio, The Economists, BTV- youth, China Daily, and Sanlian Life Week. Tony has partnered with Des Bishop, a renowned Irish talk show host, to establish Youmoxiaoqu, or Humor Section, arguably the best Chinese talk show club in China.

Li is the Founder of Folk and Art Rock Music Rock Music, the Singer of the Rock Band, and the creator of Drum Rock.
