With a shift in visa policies in the US, many US companies in China are wondering what the impact may be for employees traveling in or working long-term in the US. The US-China Business Council invites you to join USCBC member firm Faegre Baker Daniels national-recognized immigration attorney Scott Wright who will provide a comprehensive overview of how the policies of the Trump Administration are impacting multinational companies in many areas of immigration law compliance, including in connection with work visa sponsorship.
Topics will include federal agency updates regarding the Departments of State, Labor, and Homeland Security and the various ways these agencies are impacting business and employment-related immigration, as well as trends that are impacting the work visa classifications that are most commonly used by multinational companies, including those based in China. Mr. Wright will provide practical recommendations on how US companies in China can be best prepared for the changes that are occurring in U.S. immigration law and policy.
