Vegans of Beijing is proud to present another Vegan Outreach Dinner @ Pebbles! They have just launched their new Baja themed menu and we are so pleased that this now makes it the most vegan friendly Mexican restaurant in Beijing!

About Pebbles:
Under the mentorship of world known chef Rick Bayless (multiple James Beard award winner, book writer and restaurants owner), Pebbles owner/chef Ray has followed chef Rick’s passion for regional Mexican cooking and continuously bringing flavors of Mexico back to his hometown in Beijing by making contemporary Mexican cuisine with a local twist.


The Menu:

To Share: 

Homemade chips with a selection of salsas made from scratch

Starter: 

Handmade vegan cheese empanada paired with carotene puree and topped with coconut creama and pickled Mexican vegetables

Main: 

Taco set, four tacos with hand pressed tortillas (gluten free):

1. Wilted rainbow chard with Guajillo sauce, whole black beans and topped with spicy pepitas 

2. Woodfire grilled mushrooms & onion topped with salsa macha 

3. Vegan chorizo made with soy and mushrooms in our chorizo marinade with sautéed potato, topped with vegan almond Cotija cheese 

4. Woodfire grilled vegetables simmered with coconut crema topped with cilantro

Dessert: 

Homemade churros dusted with cinnamon sugar, paired with Taste Vegan vanilla ice cream

Reservations:

The cost is ¥128 per person (plus Yoopay transaction fee) and the number of attendees has been capped at 40.
