Have you ever thought about how our cities and living spaces are built?

So be sure to join us on Aug. 18th for a conversation with Livia Wang, the Architect/Creative Director of the Van Gogh House and lecturer at the Royal College of Art.
Livia will discuss the various projects that she’s worked on in Beijing, Chengdu, and London and also share stories about how her British-Chinese upbringing has shaped the way she perceives the world and how she copes with the changing trends in her career.

Founded in 2015, the Beijing Women’s Network (BWN) is a volunteer-run community that is dedicated to connecting women in Beijing to resources that can help them grow personally and professionally. Since our founding, we have now grown into a community of over 5,000 active members and were awarded the WeWork Creator’s Award in 2018. We have also hosted some prominent speakers including the legendary Dr. Jane Goodall, Jessica Cox, the world’s first armless pilot, Dr. Marissa Pei, celebrity host of iheartradio, and more.
