Our students are facing a very different world ahead of them. What are the key skill sets and qualities they need for the future? How do we best prepare them for top universities and beyond? What can we learn from the U.S. education experience? The Harvard Club of Shanghai and Harvard Shanghai Center invites you to join us for a roundtable discussion with principals from the International Academy (IA) schools in Michigan and recognized educational leaders from Harvard.

The IA schools are highly ranked public high schools in the U.S. Among them, the International Academy of Oakland County is the largest IB diploma granting school in North America. The International Academy of Macomb is the 2018 Number One magnet school in the U.S. Each year, the IA schools send students to top universities such as Harvard, Yale, Princeton, MIT, and the University of Michigan.

Speakers:

Lynne Gibson, Principal of the International Academy, Oakland County; President of the International Baccalaureate Schools of Michigan; Member of the IB Diploma Review Committee.
Dr. Eric Sturm, Principal of the International Academy of Macomb; Consultant to the Project Zero at the Harvard University School of Education; Ph.D. in Education Leadership.
