Le Wagon Shanghai is inviting you to a coding day on Saturday 16th December 2017 to give you a taste of building your own tech products from scratch.

About the organizer:
Le Wagon is the leading coding school for entrepreneurs and creative people. Described by TechCrunch as "Quietly become a major coding bootcamp." Having launched in France in 2013 with just € 1,000 and raised no funding to date, the school is present in 25 cities worldwide, with over 150 startups in operation, a handful have raised over RMB 10M. This will explain the highest ranking on course report.

Detail of each session:

Design and mockup your own tech product:
What you'll do:
- Define your app's use case, and find the angle that makes you different.
- Define your user's journey
- Zoning: Organize the info you display on each page, using Keynote or Sketch!
- Build your mockup with Sketch or Keynote and prototype them using Marvelapp

Build your own landing page from scratch:
What you'll learn:
- Guided carefully through HTML / CSS basics and Javascript
- Shown lots of graphical tips and tools

Enhance your site with Javascript:
What you'll get:
- A full introduction to Javascript programming concepts, with hands-on examples and exercises
- Decrypting the javascript frameworks and tools to accelerate product development
- Introduction and implementation to Bootstrap and its grid system on your web page

Thibault Genaitay
Front-end developer, Digital Marketer, Entrepreneur
Digital Marketing practitioner, self-taught developer for 15 years, Thibault held positions as tech project manager & account director for digital consultancies in both Shanghai & Hong Kong. He worked with luxury brands such as Guerlain, Sephora, Louis Vuitton, Lanvin, Cartier to build high-end online services. In 2016, Thibault brought Le Wagon from Europe to Shanghai aiming to help creative entrepreneurs build amazing products in China.
Besides teaching front-end development, Thibault leads the ops of Le Wagon in China in order to bring all the tech skills and mindset necessary in our digital economy.
