On December 7 at 19:00 (7 pm), the Italian Cultural Institute is proud to host the screening of Le fate ignoranti (His secret life), within the framework of the “Diversity & Inclusion Film Festival” organized by the U.S. Embassy in Beijing with the support of local diplomatic Missions from several countries (more info on the program below).

Synopsis 剧情简介

Antonia and Massimo have been married forover ten years. They live in a nice villa in the residential suburbs of Romeand they are a happy couple. Massimo suddenly dies in a car accident andAntonia gives way to absolute grief. She can't manage to pull herself together;she doesn't go to work, she neglects her friends and colleagues, she shutsherself off in her pain.

One day, Antonia happens to discover thatMassimo had a lover for seven years. She manages to find the house of herhusband's lover, who lives in a working class district of the city, and shediscovers that it is a man, Michele. There is a dramatic confrontation betweenthe two of them, but also attraction: after all, they were both in love withthe same man.

Antonia discovers that Michele issurrounded by a real 'family' of friends, who had become her husband's secondfamily.
