Jungle Book Synopsis
Our story takes place deep in the jungle where a young boy, named Mowgli, is being raised by wolves. Shere Khan, a tiger, wants him out of the jungle, so Bagheera, a panther, plans to guide Mowgli to the safety of the man village. Mowgli is kidnapped by monkeys and taken to the ancient ruins where King Louie is holding court. Baloo and Bagheera devise a rescue plan, and Baloo distracts King Louie while Bagheera rescues Mowgli. Baloo realizes the jungle is too dangerous for Mowgli and agrees to get him out of the jungle. Mowgli runs away, but he finds friendship in other jungle creatures who promise to protect him. Shere Khan prepares to attack Mowgli, but Baloo appears and rallies the other jungle creatures into battle. The jungle creatures win, and Shanti, a girl from the man village, offers to take Mowgli to her village. Mowgli agrees to explore the man village but reminds his friends that he will always consider the jungle his home.
