1. Just to eat a nice meal & catch up with real people & friends outside worklife and boozy nightlife.

2. Opportunity to contribute our little bits to society while doing something we love – EATING. The Charity aspect is a supplementary & added bonus BUT NOT the main purpose of the group.

An adorable Italian restaurant that started in 2010 and has quickly grown into 3 different Beijing branches, LMPLUS' owners Lawrence & Massimo Masili are from Sardinia and they they pride their restaurant in using high quality ingredients “with the right amount of extra virgin olive oil and passion in every dish”.

With one of Beijing's best business lunch deals in town, LMPLUS never fails to impress and deliver consistently incredible Italian creations, which is why we're pretty stoked to be hosting our next BJ FOoDiEs dinner at LMPLUS' Upper East Side location (it's their biggest location!)

October's Charity of Choice: Donate to Dandelion

Dandelion School, a nonprofit educational institute located in Daxing District, the outskirt area of Beijing City, is the first and only middle school built especially for the children from low-income migrant families in Beijing.

The school was established in 2005 and its aim is to provide a healthy and happy environment for its students to live and grow. At the Dandelion School, the children are provided with housing, food, and the attention and care that they deserve, allowing them to be free from their otherwise daily pressures of survival.
