AIA Shanghai Walking Tour | Art Deco Architecture in the Former French Concession

Join AIA Shanghai and expert Patrick Cranley of the Shanghai Art Deco Society for a guided tour of Shanghai's architectural history. This tour will visit many of the landmarks of Art Deco architecture located in the former French concession. Some of the buildings we will visit include the Cercle Sportif Francais, Grosvenor House, Cathay Cinema, and the Astrid Apartments, along with numerous Art Deco period lanes and mansions along the way.

Preparation

This will be an outdoor walking tour. Attendees should dress comfortably for an extended walk, and bring umbrellas or sun screen if needed.
