In the roaring twenties,
Shanghai became known as "The Paris of the East”.
People enjoyed the mixed culture and forgot the future.
Folks fell in the unrealistic love with the wonderful girl in cheongsam.
Struggled to be the hero of the age.
Or wagered their whole life to find true love.
Everything went to be a nice dream,
Cracking the fate.
UCL Shanghai Alumni will bring you back to the dazzled era in the luxury collection hotel, The Hongta Hotel in Lujiazui CBD on the 24th, November, 2019. UCL Provost Professor Michael Arthur will also join the night! Just save your date and join us!
